I received a very encrypted text message from my husband. All it said was, "Email?" And I'm like "Pinterest?" Then my two brain cells decide it's a good idea to check my email... And there it was! Interview scheduled today (May 29, about 1-2 hours ago) for July 18!!!

We're FaceTiming just now crying, yelling!!! So happy!!!

Side note- It's weird, I've been collecting/organizing docs for a long time... But now that's real, I feel so unprepared! Good thing there's still a month and a half!

Side note again- This date is awesome: outside of the dreaded World Cup and in time to enjoy a family vacation early in July! (A special one because my brother has been going through cancer treatment - started around the beginning of our NVC process - and will have a break for that! And now I can join!!!!)

Really happy for you. It is good timing. Last soccer game I watched was in 1990! I would really be irked if my life stood still for an entire month for such a silly thing as the World Cup

Hope your brother gets well soon. We've been through this with my wife and can imagine the emotional stress to all involved, not to mention the physical trials of our afflicted loved ones.

Finally, Interview scheduled for 09-Jul.

A little later than what I was wishing for, but I'll take it!

I will work with the consulate in Casablanca once they get the case to try to move it to an earlier date, hopefully a late June date.

Who knows?

So I see I am not the only one with the problem after paying the AOS fee. When I log into the CEAC page with the case and invoice # it then says Applicant PAY NOW THE IV when I click pay now nothing shows up. When I click on receipt this is what I get, I am going to send the form either tomorrow or Monday the latest.

Also I completed the DS-261 and this is what it says. When I click PAY NOW on the IV Fee it sends me to the invoice page where it shows that I paid the $88 dollars.

i called, they give me the standard 30 business days answer ...

Means nothing, they say that to everyone no matter what. Just keep calling every other day if you wish but I know it's coming soon you'll see.

I think nvc has backlogs. I hope they can clear out their backlogs and put a smile our faces. Sure I'll post an update as soon as my ds-261 and aos is available.

Who knows my friend, I just don't believe a word they say to be honest. Thank you would be curious how long it will take to get you to the Fee stage.

I got my case # on may 20th

got 2 emails today, one for ds261 other for aos fee.

Filled out ds261 earlier today and just paid aos fee.

Planing to send AOS package on monday.

Wow I just how hubby's email-

I just jumped on at heathrow airport london, after a 17 hr journey back from Namibia, on way to husband, only a plane and 2 buses away, what a great thing free wifi is so that I could hear this great news!

The applicant has to remember all their old addresses and all the previous work places along with the dates and supervisors. I finished mine at 1am in the morning while on a Facetime call with my wife so she could review it before I submitted it.

This one will be easy for my husband, God willing but I see what you mean. I downloaded the form and OMG it's so long and the questions are just rediculous. Thank you for the response.
