Please help! I am so frustrated. I am filling out the ds260 and I am at the part asking for secondary school details. My husband just told me that although he did finish high school and graduated they only show him going through to second year/ sophomore year. He has tried to get this fixed before but they have him run around so much he gave up. Now that I was asking him the details he recalled the issue and says he can go back to his hometown maybe in a month to try to resolve I am just so frustrated I do not

Want to hold up this process any longer . Should I just input that he finished two years at that school and then if he is able to get the issue fixed and get the actual diploma just bring it to the interview

I'm thinking that you should put the dates he was in school. I won't be providing any proofs of my education dates... and wonder if anyone else has ever needed to provide papers to corroborate their dates??

And no need to double post, just be patient :luv: Some of us read every post from where we left off, but it takes time :P

Finally, Interview scheduled for 09-Jul.

A little later than what I was wishing for, but I'll take it!

I will work with the consulate in Casablanca once they get the case to try to move it to an earlier date, hopefully a late June date.

Who knows?

Congrats etraingais!!!!!!!!!! :energy::energy::energy: I'd be thrilled with that date and hope I get one similar!

Hey Guys!! First off CONGRATS to all the approvals and interviews!!! To those who haven't gotten an approval or interview we gotta hang tight guys! So I was checking on my packet status and this came up: So I guess my question is I have already paid (and until today is showed paid) my AOS I'm not sure what to make of this can anyone elaborate on this for me?? I'm kind of freaking out right about now

Mine says N/A in a few spots too including both AOS boxes and the Civil documents box, and I'm already at CC. No worries I'm sure... they just don't have this 'new format' really organized yet in my opinion.

Interview date Schedule on 07/14/2014..

On our First Anniversary date. (L)(L) (L)

Thanks all..

What a PERFECT day for your interview!!! Congrats and good luck :dance::dance:

This is the first time I got an Agent to really engage. I followed LoveMyTico's advice and acted confused! And I was, they told me on Friday my AOS was under review and then on Tuesday it wasn't!

I also thanked her for talking to me and said I know customer service jobs are tough because people are calling upset and tired with the constant delays and I'm sure she gets the brunt of it. That seemed to go a long way, too in getting more engagement!

I left Honduras --- for financial reasons, not because I wanted to. I dont have anyone who I would even consider to be a sponsor-- when I left I thought it would be just months before we would see each other- I thought WHILE I reestablished myself financially she could come visit--

I did not know the laws-- after I got established - I applied--

its not three years it is 2 years 5 months and 28 days.

we applied for two visitation visas and was TURNED DOWN--

count YOUR blessings...

Also when I left-- our farm was in a part of Honduras that did NOT have internet-- for the first 6 months I could only call her cell phone at 40 cents a minute... we were fortunate enough to get internet access and able to speak on SKYPE as we have every day since-- I have spoken to my wife and daughters every day on the phone sometimes for a few hours / with VIDEO - if the connection is strong enough--

We did this on our own-- My parents are both deceased- I have no brothers and sisters -- I was invested in Mortgages... ?@!?!! -- like I said count your blessings- How long have you been apart?-- I missed my daughters first and second birthday-- she will be three on July 11th - and SHE COULD COME anytime without her mother and sister-- ?? thats the laws... like I said something has to change-- but as soon as I am through this- like everyine in the past- I will want to forget it and will forget about it. I am NOT an activist. just following THEIR procedures..-- I had many long conversations with the consular officer after they denied my wifes visitation in 2012 and that is when I learned the reality of the situation-

Thank GOD my wife is as strong as I am- you have no idea how difficult this has been on all of us-- been through robberies, stalkers, disgruntled employees, lawsuits, car accidents, family illness, and we remain a family.

I cannot even fathom what you and your family have been through. Even though your few sentences can barely describe all that these last few years have entailed, I admire the perseverance and inner strength it displays. And I wish for your family to be together very soon! (L)

Only...! Honey, that was 16 distinct addresses for me, over 26 years... I don't think I'm in the categories that have to fill out work history, but if I am, 10 years = 9 "day jobs" that have overlapped with my performing/music teaching self employment in 3 cities.

I did use the exemplar to make a cheat sheet so that when I actually fill it in, it will go quickly. But if it's been (ahem) a little while since your 16th birthday, that form makes you do a lot of detective work!

Same here. After weeks of documenting and piecing together my life's milestones, I spent several hours last night preparing our DS-260 cheat sheets. Mine alone was 10 pages long! (I'm thrice 16).

To all who haven't bothered to look into it. Do yourselves a favor and go through that 76-page DS-260 sampler ASAP. Collecting all the necessary info is not something you wanna do in a pinch.

For legal reasons, they seem to be asking every question five different ways, and sometimes in five different places. Sometime, I really hate lawyers when they get their claws into form design. The would skew and convulse an entire landscape, just so they could trek a straight line, if they ever feel like it.
