If you get CC next week, there is definitely a chance for an interview in July. My husband is interviewing in Mexico which is, I believe, the BUSIEST consulate, and we still got an extremely early June interview. Once NVC has shipped your file to your embassy you may call and request an earlier date.

We are at 14months since this process started.

Need advice. checklisted for two documents back in April, sent the first document in April. and they scanned it into their system on April 23.... Next document which is Indian pcc was scanned into their system on may 12. however, according to rep, they received another piece of mail on May 16, no idea what that is. Anyways, when will we get a case complete? Do they not assign case completes till after 3:30pm? I know they accepted the first checklisted document around May 12, because on that same day we received a checklist for the PCC (which was already scanned on May 12) ... Any ideas. This entire process is getting irritating. I would never suggest anyone to do this... apply for fiance visa or visiting visa.. and get hitched during that time...

Saylin or anyone else advice and suggestions appreciated. Also I am due to deliver on June 12, I seriously would've thought this entire process would be over by now... ugh!!! But we are being patient.

If you sent any kind of mail or email and they responded, it gets a barcode and it appears in their system as another piece of mail. It jsut happened to me. Its mail but not a package you sent.

My mail was scanned on May 8th and they still haven't looked at it. My best guess for you would be the end of next week or early the next week. They are falling behind. Unless they get some OT in, it doesn't look promising. This is so frustrating.

Try to relax and concentrate on having that baby. This process won't be over before you have your baby and you don't want to go early because of the stress. GOOD LUCK

it took me a week from case # assigned to be able to pay AoS fee and fill out DS261.

Don't panic if it takes a little longer now, NVC is kind of backed up lately.

I understand the feeling and it is really annoying.

hi peeps its been a long time since i visited vj so i guess i missed alot of things :(.I have been trying to call NVC to get my case number cause its been more then a month now(no updates from NVC :cry:) but their number always appears to be busy.I don't know what else to do :/

Use your auto redial and keep it up until you get through or you never will. Have patience and you will be able to talk to someone. I bet you have your case and invoice number waiting for you. :) Congrats and welcome to the gang. (F)(L)(F)
