AOS checklist response sent today. Expected delivery day : 2nd jun i hope they Do it quickly :/ Im afraid that I get the interview date in August

anyone having issue for IV fee not showing up. I paid my AOS fee two weeks ago and still there is no fee avaiable.

Case complete and got the interview date as well July 24th. now I'm going to call the embassy and ask them to move up the interview>

We are at 14months since this process started.

Need advice. checklisted for two documents back in April, sent the first document in April. and they scanned it into their system on April 23.... Next document which is Indian pcc was scanned into their system on may 12. however, according to rep, they received another piece of mail on May 16, no idea what that is. Anyways, when will we get a case complete? Do they not assign case completes till after 3:30pm? I know they accepted the first checklisted document around May 12, because on that same day we received a checklist for the PCC (which was already scanned on May 12) ... Any ideas. This entire process is getting irritating. I would never suggest anyone to do this... apply for fiance visa or visiting visa.. and get hitched during that time...

Saylin or anyone else advice and suggestions appreciated. Also I am due to deliver on June 12, I seriously would've thought this entire process would be over by now... ugh!!! But we are being patient.

Since it's taking about 2-3 weeks to review packages, you might hear something next week sometime. Just keep calling once a day for any updates. Good luck.

Your second sentence is not at all relevant to your first. The IV fee is dependent on the DS-261 being reviewed, accepted, and added to the case file. Please view the flowchart linked in my signature below and in the wiki I wrote.

hi peeps its been a long time since i visited vj so i guess i missed alot of things .I have been trying to call NVC to get my case number cause its been more then a month now(no updates from NVC ) but their number always appears to be busy.I don't know what else to do :/

You should have a case number and iin by now. Keep calling them till you get thru.

What's the chance we will get a July interview at least? and when we get a july interview(A lot of faith behind that statement) how can we ask for an earlier interview date? or at least request for an earlier interview date. Appreciate each of your inputs

Does it really takes 4 to 5 weeks for NVC to receive case from Nebraska?

I was stuck in the bottomless pit of the Nebraska service center and it took about a month I think but seems some take longer than others. There is no rhyme or reason with these people so only God knows. Much luck to you but just be happy your out of that pit. Congratulations for that.

My case was received at the NVC from Nebraska service center On Jan 17. It was shipped from NSC 12/27. We were assigned a case number and invoice identification number on 2/14/4014. so yes it does take 4-5 weeks for NVC to receive the case. and then another 4 weeks, roughly for the case number and IIN to be assigned.

No. That is usually what the representatives on the phone are told to tell you. It will probably take 3 weeks AT MOST. It could be anywhere from a few business days up until about 3 weeks. My case took 12 days to arrive at the NVC from the day it was shipped from Nebraska.

Mine was approved on the 8 and received on the 26 Th, so 18 days, so sorry just felt like a month. Boy seemed so much longer.
