oh I soooo hope you are right!! I have been on hold for over an hour.. i hope it is worth the wait

EDIT: NOPE nothing new boooooo!!!!

awww, you got my hopes up! we got checklists and submitted the responses around the same time (mine were scanned into the NVC system 27 May)... who knows maybe it does mean something good! I'm hoping for a 2-week or less (I know, not very likely...) response so that we still make it for July interviews.

At least when I called today (got Jean) to confirm that the AOS checklist items were scanned, I found out that the DS-260 and my husband's IV docs were all accepted! woohoo! I realize what a blessing this is when reading about all of the tests that many people are facing at NVC with their IV docs. Jean confirmed that once the checklist docs are accepted, we're done!

not much I can do now, but wait until the checklist docs are accepted and case complete so I'll be focusing my prayers towards those facing so many challenges!

much love and positive thoughts to all (L)

Just called NVC today because its been 10 business days since I submitted the DS-261 and no IV invoice yet. A couple of things to note based on this call

1. If you do make the mistake of loging in to your DS-261 after you have submitted it and it shows up as incomplete (as I and others have done) and then resubmit because you are worried, it resets the submission date in their system.

2. They are now saying that it is 30 days to process the DS-261, despite the information that comes up on the screen after you submit it that it should take 3-5 business days.

If the 30 days is correct I guess I'll be lucky if I can get an August interview at this point. Frustrating because if I want to move before January I need to resign from my job now otherwise I am under contract until the end of December.

2013: Sep 09: I-130 sent (Phoenix lockbox)

Talked to WALDO !! He was actually very helpful.

Talking to Supervisor Liam last night was a waste.

Anyway, the mail that is showing up in my file from May23rd is an email response . I sent an email on May1st regarding the birth cert they checklisted me for before they put in a supervisor review on May 2nd. Waldo said when they respond to emails, they barcode them so they end up in the file. It is technically external mail but he was able to see that it was an email. So Arthur can go pound sand for being so nasty yesterday. I am guessing Waldo has been there a while.

I tried asking about the process. Like what happens after a file gets checklisted? Does it stay with the same reviewer or does it go back into the shark pool? He kept saying he couldn't give out that kind of info but I got enough out of him. They get checklisted and then it goes back to the file room to wait for the items to come in. When the checklisted items get reviewed, a reviewer requests the file from the file room and they finish the file. A completely inefficient system if you ask me.

Anyway, I am praying they get to MAY 8th mail sometime this week. Waldo told me the interviews are scheduled as an ongoing process. They aren't just limited to the last week and first week of the month. It depends on each embassy and the dates they provide. It is possible to get scheduled at anytime as long as there are openings.

Good morning!

Don't think I will be calling today. Doubt they'll have my case complete yet. Yesterday when I spoke to Yvette she said that they didn't have any specific time for when they would start scheduling July interviews.

Hoping to hear good news from the rest of you today. There are some of you that I am stalking because we have the same dates or close to the same dates that we sent packages in.

You should call.... Your time is coming ! It has to be this week!! The operators don't know jack SH*T about anything

Hello,

I have question regarding police clearance certificate. I read that only police clearance certificate from local passport office is needed in case of India. But some are saying that pcc from local police station is also needed. Kindly help. If I stayed in a place other than my residence will I have to include the pcc from that place also? Actually I stayed away from my home for two years for studies from 2010-2012. Does that mean I need to obtain three different pccs? I am very much confused.

It is just sad the way they've been processing lately!!!!

The good thing is they did not start scheduling for July yet (I called last night). So you have a good chance to be on teh July interview queue.

I remember couple of weeks ago we were talking about June interviews, here we are now hoping for July! This is really out of this world!!!!!!!!!!

I don't blame you at all!!!!!! this process is the worst process ever! dealing with something that we don't have any kind of control or at least understanding of!

People outside of the US don't understand how hard it is to go through this!!!!

Every step in this process has a long wait associated with it from start to finish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Complete non-sense!!!!!!!!!!!
