They actually ONLY accept the green one!

Salamu 'Alaykum/Hello, I have a question about the DS-260. Once I'm done with the ds 260 do I sent it to my husband ? and he will have to mail it back to me ? I'm lost on what to do, about this. Any help would be great!

DS260 is an electronic form. It is about the beneficiary (I.e. Your husband). You or your husband can fill it out.

Once you fill it out, you hit SUBMIT and here it goes.

It is electronic, hence You do not need to print it at all!

I sent all documentations to NVC and it's arrived in early May, then I completed DS260 one day after.

Since then, I have not received any checklist, are we supposed to receive false checklist no matter what? or if NVC finds all documents in hands after DS260 they might avoid sending the checklist?

I had a 30 minute conversation with a supervisor. This is total BS. Their system is showing mail received form the 8th ( which I sent) and from the 23rd ( which I did not send ) he said that if I get a CC this week, it is very doubtful that I will even get a July interview. They just don't work that fast. He said my file goes nowhere until all mail is reviewed. I told him that is total ####### because I didn't send anything after the 8th. SO if they complete the file I have to wait until some stupid mail THAT I DID NOT SEND is reviewed???? He offered to look at the birth cert again and he was explaining what they are allowed to accept and what I explained doesn't sound correct. He was explaining the certified copy to me. I explained that their instructions say ORIGINAL OR CERTIFIED COPY. He said he would rather not pull my file and look at it because quite possibly someone might be looking for it and he could delay it by pulling it out of the loop, So I told him to leave it alone. WHY THE HELL IS THERE MAIL IN MY FILE FROM THE 23RD??? The lawyer did not send anything because I told him I took care of the NVC part. NVC said they can tell if it is internal mail or not. The mail from the 12th and 16th were internal. This mail from the 23rd is external. He said received on the 21st and scanned on the 23rd... #######????? I'm disgusted :girlwerewolf2xn::girlwerewolf2xn:

DONE RANTING FOR THE TIME BEING :ranting:

OMG Tico Girl!!! You have the worst luck! The only stroke of good luck you had was receiving your case # early but it barely seeming worth it now! It's a good thing you didn't have to wait forever for that! I'm so sorry this is happening! :(

Such beautiful image, both in picture and words! I'm really happy to see you're all well! Several people posted being worried about you! So, your interview date has changed? Earlier or later? Be well, and don't let go of those hands :)

Splendid!

Be safe! Stay merry! Godspeed!

Stay strong my friend! We are all praying for the well being of you and your family! Hope to see you guys in the USA safe and sound soon!

Wow! Seeing your photo and reading your words gives me goosebumps. So happy for you and your family. My time is coming soon!!! Congrats and have a safe trip home!!! :)

Good to hear from you. Am happy you are with your family.

Yes. Do not ever let go... God bless you all.

Yeheeeeyyy :dancing::dancing::dancing: You are already with your family. Precious picture!!! The time has come to be with your loved ones and live a happy life with them forever. Wish you and your family the best in life and be safe! Good luck to the interview and please share your interview experience to us. There's no other VJ members that are active here from Thailand but you and me I think. Enjoy your days in Thailand.

I know you can't read this but I don't care, I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU MY DEAR FRIEND! Amazing just amazing finally I feel joy! God bless you all and I hope your trip back home is a safe and smooth one. :D(F)(L)(F) Just look how happy all of you look.

Interview date still on for June 3rd. Today we are getting my sons Thai passport to go with his U.S. Passport to allow for effortless travel in the future. Strangely the takeover of the military here in Thailand gives a great deal of certainty to the interview date as all major arteries in Bangkok have been cleared of protestors which should insure uninterrupted operation of the Embassy. There are always what ifs in this process but there is a witness in my spirit that is speaking of a beautiful moment when my wife emerges from the Embassy on June 3rd with a beautiful smile and hands raised in praise to the faithfulness of God to go before us and prepare the way through every circumstance that we have faced through this long visa journey

We're not special to have w-2s like the USA :P. I hope for the best for you as well. If they pay attention they should realise it's from a foreign job. But with NVC now and days, how can you be sure? :P.

Hi again,

Did you include a Form 2555 with your wife's taxes for Foreign Earned Income?

Thanks,

Caitlin

Arghhh I hate my lawyer and her paralegal! :ranting: They screw up the I-864 by rounding up the figures causing us to get a checklist (on 5/21). And now the paralegal goes off on holiday and the lawyer doesn't have a slot on her calendar until June 2! That's a total of 10 days wasted doing absolutely nothing! :clock: I so regret using a lawyer. I could have done it myself with the help from you good people

Sorry I had to rant :(
