Here is what it all says after I copied it into Word: I just dont understand what it is asking for!

The NVC has recieved the requesed the DS-260 Online Immigrant Visa Application. Howevere, we are still waiting for the response to the checklist letter for the Affidavit of Support. Please return the requested information so that we may complete processing your case.

If you already sent in your AOS Package and it's not asking for anything specific, then it is a false checklist.

I had a 30 minute conversation with a supervisor. This is total BS. Their system is showing mail received form the 8th ( which I sent) and from the 23rd ( which I did not send ) he said that if I get a CC this week, it is very doubtful that I will even get a July interview. They just don't work that fast. He said my file goes nowhere until all mail is reviewed. I told him that is total ####### because I didn't send anything after the 8th. SO if they complete the file I have to wait until some stupid mail THAT I DID NOT SEND is reviewed???? He offered to look at the birth cert again and he was explaining what they are allowed to accept and what I explained doesn't sound correct. He was explaining the certified copy to me. I explained that their instructions say ORIGINAL OR CERTIFIED COPY. He said he would rather not pull my file and look at it because quite possibly someone might be looking for it and he could delay it by pulling it out of the loop, So I told him to leave it alone. WHY THE HELL IS THERE MAIL IN MY FILE FROM THE 23RD??? The lawyer did not send anything because I told him I took care of the NVC part. NVC said they can tell if it is internal mail or not. The mail from the 12th and 16th were internal. This mail from the 23rd is external. He said received on the 21st and scanned on the 23rd... #######????? I'm disgusted

Maybe your AOS is the mystery mail in my freakin file...... This place sucks. They hire monkeys from the Zoo to review our files.

That should mean they reviewed and accepted your AOS

Good catch! I just saw 'birth cert' but yeah, why are they asking for the petitioner's BC? how odd

I hope you are right.. maybe I will call later.. the revised AOS was delivered on Friday.. Sooo I wonder if they already reviewed it???

They need the petitioner's birth certificate when you apply for your parents or brother or sister

Most people get their documents lost... I get mail added to my file that doesn't exist... How sucky would it be if it was for someone else's file and they were waiting for a CC??? OMG this place is just friggin amazing.

Husband is texting nasty words... he wants me to call him. He can't believe there is more waiting. Ya know... all we want is to be together. the hoops you have to jump through as a USC ... #######????

I called today and they haven't reviewed AOS checklist they got May 2nd. The lady was nice though and said they are reviewing mail from May 1st right now.

wow... what did he say was wrong with your birth certificate? how did you get the supervisor on the phone?

the supervisor just told me they have no way of knowing what day is being processed. I think they like to make up stories.

Just got approved I'm PD nov 15 got approved May 27 from NSC. I'm in Australia with my hubby and I'm USC!

Guys, when I called tier 1 to make sure approval wasn't my imagination they said NVC is back logged and it might take up to 90 days to even receive my case. PLEASE tell me this is a tier 1 just talking #######???

Any ideas/similar experiences??

wow... what did he say was wrong with your birth certificate? how did you get the supervisor on the phone?

I didn't ask for the supervisor, the woman told me to hold on. She was confused too. There is so much BS going on in my file ever since I asked for the supervisor review on the birth cert. They said the original is missing a stamp from the Civil Registry but the certificate is from the civil registry. It says Registro Civil all across the top and it has other stamps and signatures etc. My husband says everyone has this kind of BC but if they lose it, they have to go to the registry and get a certified copy, which we sent on the 8th. The supervisor says they have pictures of each document of what they are allowed to accept. He explained to me what the certified copy looks like. Obviously they have no idea what an original looks like. I would love to know what was mailed and received on the 23rd. This is such BULL #######. and what a bummer that July is not likely... I just want to cry....

Do you want to feel better? I was even more naive, before getting married I went to spend sometime with my husband(then fiancé) for 4 months. I had no intention of doing anything illegal and of course I didn't consult any lawyer. I came back to Montreal to give up my apartment, my car and sell everything that I had. I still didn't have intentions of doing anything illegal, but decided to go back a month later with all my possessions to leave it in the USA and had a ticket back to Montreal 2 months later. I was thinking by then I will have my green card . Got to airport and of course they stopped me , finger printed me (HUGE CRIMINAL) etc. They told me to do a fiancé visa. As you can imagine, I had nowhere to go, no place to stay, nothing. I stayed with a friend for 3 days, and my husband (then fiancé) came that weekend and we found a furnished apartment etc. We got married right away and applied for I-130. AND THAT IS A REAL NAIVE!!!!!!

unreal. this process is way harder that it needs to be
