CASE COMPLEEEEEEEEETE!!!!!! Since May 22! My husband just texted me the news!

Notes: Last time he called, last Tuesday (5/20) they gave him the usual "it's going to take 30 days for review". On that same day, our Congress representative placed an inquiry about our case. I don't know if any of the calls made a difference, or was about time for case to be completed! But case complete!!!! No checklists!!! ((We're not off the hook just yet, 'cause I have a few complications that may thwart things at the interview, but for now, I'm celebrating!!!!!!!))

I am so thankful for the knowledge, wisdom, support, understanding, tears and laughs this group so selflessly share! Thank you all!!!!

I just noticed something odd when I logged into the Consular Electronic Application Center. Just so you know, I'm a self-petitioner in an employment-based category that does not require a job offer.... I just like to hang around this rowdy crowd.

When I logged into the Fee Payment portal, I saw the following:

Affidavit of Support (AOS) Fee

-----------------------------------------

Petitioner Status

My name EXEMPT

IV Application Processing Fees

------------------------------------------

Applicant Status

Wife's name NOT INVOICED

Kids' names NOT INVOICED

My question is: Shouldn't my name be listed as an applicant as well under the IV fees?

35 minutes on hold for Spanish speaker. Crazy!

They said they haven't gotten the answer to our checklist but UPS delivered it last Friday morning.

No worries remember it was a three day holiday so they must be still some what tipsy

Hey guys for 2013 tax transcript I have to wait for 2 weeks ,Can I send w2 instead of 2013 transcript with 2012 and 2011 transcripts will they accept.

You can't just send your W2. You have to send every single piece of paper you submitted to the IRS. The requirements say "tax returns (ie what you sent to the IRS when you filed 2013 taxes, including your W2) or transcripts."

I suppose you can send in what you have now, knowing that you're going to get a checklist (and assuming that by the time they get around to asking for your transcript in the checklist, you will be able to get it from the IRS, but I think (don't know, anything's possible) that it will go faster if you send it later and don't get a checklist.

I think you've got the first part correct, it seems mostly to be the address issue that crops up.

As for income, they want the 'current year (2014) income', so it would be what you make after starting the job when you arrive until the end of the year.

Thank you so much, you are great for sticking around here to help the rest of us out! So I am going to leave the rest of the i864 blank hoping I don't get a checklist and will put current income only 4 months of estimated income

Please, those of you who are sending good luck around, can you send a little bit my way that my re-submission of the DS261 won't hold me up much longer and that I can pay IV fee and fill in my DS260 soon?

- MARRIAGE TERMINATION

- PETITIONER BIRTH CERTIFICATE

I believe all were included in the Civics Docs. What should I do now because I don't have any original to submit one more time?

Same result. They'll send a checklist for 2013. Sorry, but this long after the irs filing deadline, there's really no way around submitting the 2013 return or transcript, unless you have an approved extension letter, in which case you'd submit that, and they might let you bring your 2013 taxes to the interview. Maybe.

I submitted on april 15,2014 thru paper app becz electronically was not going thru ,so for paper app it is taking 6 to 8 weeks to aprove .

It is already been 5 weeks this is 6th week.Hopefuly I will get another week or so.

I'm calling and still waiting. I petition my mom and they need my birth certificate. I don't know how to do if they lost my documents
