Hello everyone !! I'm pretty sure its been answered here before but can you please explain things to me like I'm 5 years old :)

1. My petition was approved by uscis for my wife and two kids(3 people)last week . Will NVC give me 3 case numbers or just 1 for the whole family ?

2. Am I going to pay 3x$88 for my AOS fee or just one for the three of them? I know IV fee will be paid for each person..

Thanks again!

1. Yes. If you submitted a I-130 for each one of your relatives, then NVC will provide a case number and IIN to each.

2. You will pay $88 only once but you still need to prepare a separate AOS packets for each relative. If CEAC shows an AOS fee for each person, then you will need to contact NVC and ask them to "link" the cases together. You are correct about the IV fees.

Good luck!

Hello all,

Great news -- the NVC is no longer requseting the Greek PCC that I got a checklist for. Apparently the supervisor was able to pull my file and list it as "unavailable."

Now here's where things get mysterious: very recently the Greece Country Reciprocity page showed that the PCC was available for non-Greek applicants applying from abroad. But when I looked again today, it doesn't say anything about non-Greek applicants. I even have the old version saved in an email, but I have no idea when it changed. I knew from the beginning that this process was going to be like bureaucratic Kafka hell, but this is just too weird. Disappearing requirements...

They did insist that I send court records for my husband, but that item will be very easy to take care of as he's never been in court. I'm planning on sending a letter today.

Can't wait to hear everyone's good news this week!

Awesome for you! So glad they resolved this issue. Who knows, maybe you brought light to this issue with Greek docs and got them to update the info online. Here is hoping for a prompt CC for you!

Finally! A win of the second leg of the Visa Triple Crown! Case complete May 27!

Thanks to all who helped (expecially you Saylin) and good luck to all who are still waiting... my prayers are with you.

... And they're off! Congratulations!!! :dancing::dancing:

Hello guys I have a quick quastion , I am a September filer i got my case number on 23 May ( last Friday ) , today I goit my INN and I cant sign in my quastion is why ?!

Also I called NVC and wanted to give my emails and they said we cant accpet your emails right now becuase your case just got in to the system please advice !!!!!!

Congrats on getting your case number! Don't panic, things have been taking a little bit longer to access and complete.

You should be able to sign in any day now, maybe even later today!

I would call the NVC again to give your emails, as you should definitely be able to provide them by now. A different representative might be all it takes ;)

Thanks, guys! Much appreciated, as always. Funny side note: My husband is floored by the quick responses I get whenever I post on VJ. I'll be like, "Oh, I got a response and someone said..." and he'll be like "Already???" He also thought you got paid for what you do, Saylin! I said no, she's just our NVC fairy godmother. :P

I agree! Whenever I've had questions, I have told my husband 'I'll just ask on the forums and see what they say and I'll call you back'.... and he's shocked that I get an answer so quickly.

Never mind when we're only a week into the new month's thread and already at 50-100 pages worth of posts :D

As others have stated, it takes about 7 days to receive the case complete email from the actual case complete date.

And the case complete email doesn't contain any medical or interview information. Even the interview letter doesn't have medical information. You get this yourself online through NVC's website.

I highly suggest you click on the NVC Process wiki link in my signature and read the last few steps at NVC to familiarize yourself with the process.

Sorry if this is a question that has already been answered, but when you say they were working on May 5th on Friday, does that also include cases that still need to be assigned a case number? The reason I ask is because my case arrived at the NVC on May 5th and was wondering if they maybe already assigned me a case number.

Thankyou I would let her know :) is Pakistan a MENA country?

Seems like Pakistan is not a MENA country but it definitely is a high fraud country just like India and Bangladesh. I would suggest to make sure to have documents if they ask for them and also, know what to say and explain any questionable differences.

I think so, If you get a CC this week you will be inline for a July interview and then you can negotiate with the consulate/embassy to see if they can give you an earlier appointment. I know I will do the same with the consulate in casablanca once they receive our case!!!

Good luck

You can ask for an earlier appointment? What are you supposed to tell them?

Will do so immediately thank you for everything so far. So wait the email won't even have the date to go for the interview?

The case complete email won't. That email is just to say your case is complete.

Once your case is complete, your case is put into queue for an interview date to be assigned. An interview date isn't assigned at the same time as case complete.

Once your case is scheduled for an interview, then you'll receive the interview letter which contains the date and time, along with other interview information.
