Interesting, as I've not noticed any conflicting statements about this. I thought it was consistently stated to check both boxes when sending in all 3 years of transcripts. Maybe that was something you found on other VJ threads but I pretty much always referred to this one as it has the excellent insights of Saylin (and of course others) to keep us on track

Congrats! When did NVC receive/scan in the last package that you sent to them? Just wondering to see if it is anywhere around the time they received my last package. Hoping for a CC this week.

So NVC got my updated AOS April 25th and according to the lady I just talked to 2 minutes ago they have not even started processing it. I was told it could take 30 days for them to start processing it and another 30 days for them to process it. She has got to be kidding.

This is scaring me and it doesn't make much sense. Many people who sent stuff in after that date already had their packages looked at.

OK. Just called and got my Case & Invoice ID numbers. They where assigned on May 23rd, right after you called them back. Thanks!

A realistic time frame to receive your case number is still around 30 days. Some people have gotten lucky but the majority of people have had to wait just about 30 days (sometimes 28-32 days). If your case was received at the NVC on 5/23, I would expect to receive a case number around June 23 or maybe a few days + or - .

EDIT: You can see that one or two posts up, someone received a case number after about 24 days, so there is a chance you may get it earlier than the 30 day estimate. I would recommend calling after about 3 weeks to see what's going on.

I predict elvenshadow will get their case number in the next two days since it only took 22 days to get the I-130 from USCIS to NVC hehehee that must be a record. :rofl:

Nope, it wasn't you. It is obvious that you are pretty on top of your stuff. I have skimmed A LOT of old threads through search results and sometimes information is not always correct so I was always a little unsure about this. Just making sure. Don't mind me.

I wouldn't believe a thing they say! They are looking at your AOS right now and you should know in a few days whats up and if you have a check list or not. I'll be praying NOT.

My IV package was entered into NVC system on 28-Apr and I got CC on 15-May.

so don't be discouraged by some isolated cases. It has been taking NVC 2 weeks and 2 or 3 days to 3 weeks to review documents after entered into their system.

Nope, it wasn't you. It is obvious that you are pretty on top of your stuff. I have skimmed A LOT of old threads through search results and sometimes information is not always correct so I was always a little unsure about this. Just making sure. Don't mind me.

Be careful with old threads (especially ones that are years and years old) as a lot of that stuff is outdated. Things change pretty often around here...

Hi everyone, just a quick question: I don't have a printer at my current apartment, but I'd rather make the AOS payment from the comfort of my own home and not at an internet café (I don't make a habit of entering bank info on public computers). Is the bar-coded cover sheet from the payment portal able to be saved as a PDF or by other means, maybe a screen shot? I'm hoping I can e-mail it to myself and then go to the internet café to print it out.

Wow! I just went back and looked at the cover sheet for my Checklist and you are right! It says to allow 20 business days after they receive it to review what you have sent. So the whole 30 day ####### they have been telling me is incorrect. They send something in writing stating it is 20 BUSINESS DAYS!!!

Thank you! Either way, I have decided that I need to see my husband by the first week of July. At this point, who cares if I have to pay an arm and a leg to fly there. But $1700 hurts oh so much!

it gives you the option to email it to email addresses of your choice. It will automatically email it to the petitioner's email.

Hello guys I have a quick quastion , I am a September filer i got my case number on 23 May ( last Friday ) , today I goit my INN and I cant sign in my quastion is why ?!

Also I called NVC and wanted to give my emails and they said we cant accpet your emails right now becuase your case just got in to the system please advice !!!!!!
