You know what? I'm sitting here - scared to call the NVC, because I'm scared to hear that they still haven't touched my file. There have now been 4 people here on VJ with dates AFTER mine who have Case Complete. It's Friday, and if nothing happens, there are then 3 days (since I don't call until after business hours) until any new news. Sigh.

Funny thing...my partner has entered the Diversity Lottery for 5 years now. We checked yesterday, and she did not win a slot. This is the FIRST year that this news hasn't TOTALLY devastated us! I'm rather glad - it means we didn't take up a slot that someone really really needed....

I feel your pain. I've had everything payed filled out and sent to NVC. Since April 4th. I sit here watching others with dates before mine get case completes and my heart sinks a bit, Don't get me wrong I am happy and excited for those with case completes, but because we opted for EP it takes twice as long to get case complete.

Hopefully you hear something soon. I am dreading calling them too, but I am calling to night after work. Good luck. Praying for you and everyone else waiting for case completes. I hope NVC can get there acts together soon

OMG, my heart just skipped a beat seeing this. Hopefully I will be next. This means they are now receiving emails up to April 3rd. Did you just get the email today saying the received your AOS and IV??

Did you email AOS and IV before receiving ENROLL confirmation or after? I sent mine BEFORE receiving ENROLL confirmation, they received my AOS I'm just hoping the also receive my IV, if not I will be waiting another month, till they review emails on the 17th of April.

I've noticed that EP people receive those email and then a day or two later have case completes. Hurry up NVC

Funny thing...my partner has entered the Diversity Lottery for 5 years now. We checked yesterday, and she did not win a slot. This is the FIRST year that this news hasn't TOTALLY devastated us! I'm rather glad - it means we didn't take up a slot that someone really really needed....

I had entered the Diversity Lottery for 15 years. I got absolutely nothing! LOL! :rofl:

What is your country of chargeability then? Since it cannot be Canada....

I'm originally from Japan. My partner (USC) and I immigrated to Canada over 10 years ago because my H1-B visa was expiring and an option of marriage wasn't available back then. :bonk: We became Canadian citizens over 5 years ago. Actually, my partner is now both American and Canadian (dual citizenship). :dance:

I called on monday and told me to call Today FRIDAY

But im not sure to call just to here them say NOT YET

They have been taking 30 days from what ive seen and experience. Don't call until the 8th or 9th.
