:) I don't share your excitement about the World Cup! Not a fan of soccer (I'm within a minority of Brazilians!), and I'm actually a little worried I might have an interview scheduled in Rio during the World Cup. That's the last place I want to be :) Here in Brazil, we're antecipating some turmoil during the Cup. If not just the higher travel prices, traffic jams and this kind of nonsense, there might actually be riots and things like that. It's presidential election year and people are very dissatisfied with a lot if things (including all the spending for World Cup and Olympic Games).

It's funny how it goes: rooting for a quick case complete for so long, but now, not so much! Trying to breath and letting the river flow!

I do hope it's a nice show for soccer fans everywhere, though!

My father and I watch since I can remember and he was a forward then Goalie for EMELEC so he taught me all about the game and I don't ever remember not loving it. I will admit I love it much more when a South American team or teams are playing. We brought finesse to this game made it a ballet.

I'll be praying this doesn't happen I know and understand the reasons but as far as I'm concerned this is not the time for the countries sake. God willing all will be well.

I'm numb I know when I get my Case Complete it will just mean a very long wait then AP so it's difficult for me to be excited. I'm more scared and depressed.

All will be well my dear Gee&Cee you will see, I see it in my crystal ball. :)(F) (L) (F)

I know it is tough going through USCIS and NVC processes knowing that you have to wait for God only knows how long for the interview and then AP.

I really don't know why AP for Egyptians? I have lots of friend from Egypt, actually some of them are like brothers and sisters to me! Egyptians are mostly nice people! but it is what it is! I really applaud your courage and condor!!!!!!

I'm a big fan of Real Madrid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My dad and I were just discussing the game at the table loll. Going to see Portugal v Ireland on June 10th in a friendly in NJ before they head to Brazil for the World Cup. Thought I'd end up seeing the games with the hubby, but looks like that won't happen. We'll have to use Viber to chat during the games.

Can't wait for the World Cup, so excited, was hoping to watch it with my husband but that wont happen. And not a fan of Real Madrid. ;) hahahaaa! (F)(L)(F)

I just said this in a reply to etrangais lol. We can't watch with our men but we can chat about it here. Well sorta because it's totally off topic lol.

Since the changes to the website are so new, we can only speculate on exactly what will show there in the future, and time will tell. Hopefully it will indicate the receipt of or acceptance of those packages, but for now says N/A.

Yay!!!

I called the cust rep at nvc.. they said that they received the packages and have to wait for 30days..i think that N/A means that they're not finish reviewing those packages yet.. im just worried.. u know..

Thank you etrangais I truly appreciate your words. Apparently there is a lot of fraud in Egypt but I truly think from what I have read here and on other sites that there is much less then the Embassy thinks there is. Many happy couples of all ages he's older than her, she's older than him, same or close to same age. But as in every country there are some that would pay or lie to the their spouse to get out of Egypt. After reading of a case not Egypt or any MENA country where a man in his mid 90 married a 18 year old and had no problem what so ever bring her to the USA, no AP nothing. I find it interesting. I think is unjust and unfair because those that are terrorists are 99.9% single if that is their concern.

Thank you again and my God bless you and your family. :)(F)(L)(F)
