Ok, now you confused the heck out of everybody here!

First of all, you don't pay DS261. DS261 is an electronic form: The choice of agent and address.

Once you fill out DS261, it takes one to two weeks for the IV fees to be invoiced.

The AoS fee is invoiced at the same time as DS261 is available.

I'm here if you have any more questions.

Good luck

etrangais thanks.. yeah Aos fees comes paid bt i m waiting for IV to be available, so as i can send the documents soon,,,Aos fees comes paid since one week... it took lotz of time...

NVC has been delaying things lately. Lots of memebers reported IV fees take time to be invoiced now. May be they are swamped right now and they are trying to control teh flow of documents.

Give it some time, hopefully it will show up nsometime next week.

Good luck

Wow! Since 2008?! That is awesome! I've been slowly but surely trying to climb out of the debt I got myself into. The student loan is the biggest thorn in my side :/

I love the idea of a spreadsheet, and once hubby is here I may tackle that again (I just have a tablet as my laptop had a massive seizure a few months ago)!

Have you heard of unburyme.com? That and Mint are really awesome tools for financial planning, but I've put too many years into my Excel sheet, I'm addicted now

The way student loans are handled here is absolutely shameful, not to mention the skyrocketing cost of education itself. It's such a huge handicap and burden on people who are trying to better themselves and contribute positively to the economy. The US does it all wrong.

My I-130 was delivered and signed for last Monday using UPS. The check has not been cashed and I have not received our NOA1......GRRRRRRRR!

I think you are in the wrong forum. You might want to look for the May 2014 I-130 filers forum. This is for people who have already moved on to the next stage of the process at the NVC. :)

Hope you are doing well. Still waiting for AOS checklist of April 30th. We replied same day but I guess EP is slower than snail mail.

Have a nice weekend!

unbury.me maybe?

Well its Memorial Day weekend, it was the Easter Holiday that delayed me being able to pay my fees, now its another holiday that postpones progress. I like most people in this forum are just tired of waiting. It is stressful.

TODAY I choose to be grateful, thankful for what I have. This will help me get through these final days, weeks or even months (hope not)--

I am grateful for being where I am, I am grateful for having the people in my life that I have. I am grateful to be so much closer to closure than I was when I was forced to make the difficult decision to return to the USA - at that time I had no basis for completing an AOS, I didn't have anyone that I would even consider asking to be my co- sponsor, I had to come out of my semi-retirement and get a real job again. The Mortgage meltdown, melted down my financial independence. I had to change gears, LITTLE did I know about immigration laws, NEVER did I think it would be years, I thought it would be months at most.

again, I am in such a better place now, this is all behind me I know we are not YEARS away from being a family again, so I am grateful.

I suggest in these difficult times when we are in a holiday weekend and everything comes to a screeching halt, instead of being angry and upset (that's easy to do)- count your blessings, we are all one day closer to being past this difficult time.

thanks for letting me rant --

I like your outlook. Sometimes we're blinded for what we have, when all we see are the negative things. The positive things are what keeps up going.
