When did your packages get scanned at the NVC??

Not sure what scanned means, but I called them last week and they said that my AOS was received on May 1st and IV packet was received on May 8th

Do you have delivery confirmation of the IV? I would called and speak with someone to verify receipt of the IV package.

Yes, they have confirmed the receipt of my IV package. I've been calling them for a few days now and they have told me numerous times they received two packages from me (AOS and IV).

The checklist didn't mention the marriage certificate though which just confuses me more.

so happy went from total dejection in believing that stage iv cancer was not valid enough for expedite and run around at nvc to getting notification expedite approved and no waiting six weeks for case number, whomever out there that is doing the good vibes and realising we all only have limited time on this planet, thank you for paying it forward and the warm wishes, am absolutely in tears and today is my birthday

they go to different locations according to the barcode coversheet so maybe the one dept is just a little behind..

Does anyone received the invoice in the weekend? I waiting IV Fee invoice 15 days since DS-261 Completed. Today is last day of the week if they don't sending invoice on weekend. So waiting 4 more days to start a new week( Monday is Memorial Day,holiday)

while you guys are waiting for NVC processing, when times you have to apply for something what marital status did you guys put? knowing you spouse has Nonresident alien status.. will it affect any tax related documents for the AOS? Sorry if this has been ask. Thank you and feedback is appreciated.

The confusing part is the checklist also asks for me to submit a copy of my passport, my birth certificate, and police certificate all which I have already sent as part of my IV package. They already have these documents!

I just called them and the NVC representative told me missing documents like yours too, and she told me my AOS package was accepted, my civics documents have not been reviewed.

I guess they have the checklist about all needed documents and because have not reviewed the civics, therefore their checklist show missing files. That my assumption.

And I'm not worry about it. It is good when they review the civics docs.

They received my AOS package on 05/05 (the USPS delivered on 05/02)

Hope my civics will be reviewed soon, they received it on 05/06 (the USPS delivered on 05/05)

hmmm well 32 minutes total including the conversation..

he told me there was mail received the 8th and today... and of course I was told the same thing on the 12th but I did not send anything else. So he puts me on hold and comes back and said he gave me wrong information. He asked a supervisor He says the file is being reviewed .. that is what the scan was today. Please give us 30 days to review bla bla bla I asked if it was physically with someone.. he said he couldn't tell. He has to be new.

This morning when I called, there wasn't anything about a new piece of mail or scan or whatever.. so at least somebody is touching my file. I was so hoping for some good news to carry me through the long weekend. BOO HOO

ok I have a question about the i-864, I am living abroad so i abviously need a co-sponsor and now that I have my case number I started pressuring him and he told me he hasnt filed his taxes for 2012 nor 2013 soooo, I am looking for a new sponsor, I just need to know what amount on their annual income i am looking for, because my brother has a farm with a lot of income, but it also has a lot of expenses and he has a lot of children, so I need to know if it is total income or adjusted income.

and on a side note, this community is the best. I got so excited when I got my case number yesterday and only here seems like other people are excited for the same thing to other people that arent going through this dont really understand how it is such a big deal, any one I mention it to, they are like.. oh so she got aproved? so she has her interview or what is so good about getting the case number?? but ya its great to spend hours and hours reading all of your comments and seeing the process everyone is going through and to have such a large vj family that gets excited for the same things as me
