Sweet heart just ask for supervisor they will get you one and insist this is your right and they have no right to mistreat you or anyone. This has to end and we all have to call and complain when someone is rude and nasty to us. We are stressed out as it is we don't need this.

Take a deep breath try to be calm and if it's Shelley again don't hang up just ask for a supervisor. We have your back so let's do this. :)(F)(L)(F)

I will do just that and I'll report back on how it goes. Thank you endlessly -- I feel much better now.

Hi guys, finally IN here.

I have few questions in retards to AOS.

Do I just put N/A to all empty fields that does not apply to me?

I will have a joint sponsor. and He files his taxes jointly w/ his wife. Does he need to mention her in part 6? They work at same place(own a business).

If so, at PART 6 11, it says I need to include 1864A for this person.

I am confused :(

On hold 30 minutes, talked with Sarah. My AOS was received at NVC on MAY 7th. Agent Sarah said my AOS documents are currently being reviewed.

Sooooo when should I call back to find out if I'm getting a dreaded checklist? I asked her twice about it and both times she said she can't see anything, she asked if I submitted the IV packet yet, and I told her NVC received that on May 16th (that's the day they scanned it in).

5/21/2016: Mailed I-751 packet to CSC

5/23/2016: NOA1

7/29/2016: Biometrics Appointment

11/22/2016: I-751 Approved!

Shelley was so rude to me that I started bawling on the phone and had to hang up... I don't know what to do

What happened?!?!?!

it was May 5th as of 2 days ago.. which makes it even better. I did just call and talk to Cindy. She says no updates... so I will call later today... probably more like 6 or 7 pm I wish I knew how many days of mail they blow through in a day. The mail is separated by the bar code destinations.. I hope they crank them out today. It sucks having to wait until Tuesday without a CC.

So if they were doing May 5th as of 2 days ago, they could possibly be on the 7th or 8th... RIGHT???

Where the hell is that crystal ball???

I am a May 5th and I called 2 days ago and no CC. So I don't know girl.

How did you find out you had a checklist? Over the phone or received an E-mail?

I called on 20 May, spoke to Rose, and was told that we would be receiving a checklist for both my AOS and the joint-sponsor's AOS. I asked if they had any detail on what was wrong and she told me the sections that needed to be fixed and a document needed for both. She could only really tell me the section but not what was exactly wrong and that I should receive the email in 3-5 days. I'm not exactly sure when they had reviewed our documents because I hadn't called for like a week, but I ended up receiving the email that afternoon.

My suggestion would be to wait (sorry if this is too late!) for the email because once I had the checklist email I was able to call NVC back (spoke to Miguel) and was able to get much more information out of him because I could fully explain my situation and the checklist. Afterwards, I felt a little clearer on what they were asking for (just hoping he was right!). Also the checklist document attached to the email said to send a full copy of the checklist letter with the needed documents, as well as a new barcode sheet that looked different from the original barcode sheets. Am not sure if it will make a difference if you use the original one.

I did ask if there was anything that I could attach/do to speed up the processing time of "30 days" but Miguel said no. Oh well, it was worth trying! :content:

Good luck with everything. I'm just hoping we make it for July interviews! :energy:

No problem! We're going to do the same. Hubs is also going to try and get immunizations before the medical so he doesn't have to pay for those too. Fingers crossed you get a CC soon!

Thanks, you too! I hope you are checklist-free! Immunization records are a little iffy here in St. Lucia, so we don't even know for sure which vaccinations the "US approved" physician will accept. In Barbados, there is only one clinic to do the medical and you do it just a few days before the interview, so my husband will just get whatever vaccinations are necessary then. The clinic is also on another island, so no way of doing it before. Guess he'll have a nice dead arm for the interview after all of those shots!

Yeah, I'm a little worried about the checklist for AOS now, bc someone else in our Sept group said they got one for putting the rounded total income amount on the tax return for the income amount on the I-864, which I believe I did too. UGH.

We almost went to St. Lucia for our honeymoon!! Beautiful island! I feel bad that my hubby has to get poked and prodded, but it'll all be worth it and long forgotten once he's here for good! :)

Yes, it was just the same checklist asking for the Birth Cert 3 times. I guess its their way of saying what I sent was no good. I called and found out that they did review it and it is still not acceptable. You can't get a detailed update about the supervisor review. They will just tell you it is still being reviewed...or complete

did you send a certified copy of your birth cert while you supervisor reviews were going on? my wife should be sending me a certified copy of the marriage certificate next week... not sure if i should wait for the supervisor review to complete before sending it.

sorry for all the questions... you seem to be the best person to ask about my situation :)

I'm sorry if this sounds dramatic or over the top... I can't even explain how upset I was, and I'm not the type to have an emotional reaction over someone being rude.

You have no reason to apologize! And kudos to you for holding a rude representative accountable for their rudeness. This process if challenging enough without attitude.

I'm glad to hear you were able to speak with someone nicer and that you're getting som progress :-)
