With the DHL tracking, just found out my case was shipped to the consulate yesterday. Consulate should receive 05/27, since Monday is a holiday. Once consulate receives, they will notify NVC of date of interview.

Cases usually ship out 1 or 2 days preceding completion.

Geez must be Embassy specific, I always see people saying NVC give out the interview dates and that the Embassies send them a list of dates. Hummm I guess not. :)(F)(L)(F)

I talked with someone this morning at NVC - she said case shipped and that they are waiting for the embassy to assign an interview date, then NVC will notify me of that date. I would suggest calling up and asking again because, unless Cameroon does things differently, that's not the process for IR-1/CR-1 cases...

So, I know there is a request for them to retrieve my mail from the 8th and for a supervisor review ( put in the system 2 days ago) I am afraid to call and get the AX. It seems they are working on Monday May 5th. To call..... or not to call....... friggin stress is killing me...

My AOS was scanned in on May 7th. I'm going to call tonight.... not expecting much but part of me is hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

It would be great if you can start the holiday weekend with good news!! :-D

5/21/2016: Mailed I-751 packet to CSC

5/23/2016: NOA1

7/29/2016: Biometrics Appointment

11/22/2016: I-751 Approved!

Congratulations to everyone who got a case complete! It's wonderful to see that NVC's moving along.

I'm on hold to see if I can find out about a checklist that's being generated for a Greek police certificate for my husband. For the past several months I've anticipated having this problem because the Greek Embassy flat out refused to help us. In my IV package provided a letter of "proof of attempts to obtain penal record" including visits, calls, and emails to the embassy, with a letter from the embassy saying they would not be able to obtain the police record for us. I contacted an attorney in Greece who said that it's not likely a police record exists/ or is obtainable in my husband's case, and she said she would charge around $1000 to help us try to obtain it, which we can't afford because we're both unemployed living in Algeria. We also can't get a plane ticket to Greece, for that reason and because I doubt that my husband would be issued a visa. In Algeria you pretty much have to have a studnet, work, or family visa to leave the country, as tourist visas are rejected across the board. I explained all this in my letter.

The NVC rep told me to resubmit my letter as a checklist response. She refused to initiate a supervisor review, saying that both my pending packages must be reviewed first. Is that true? I'm guessing I should just send the letter again asap and continue to insist on a supervisor review. What do you all think?

CONGRATS !!!!

YAY MAY 5th mail !!! CLOSER AND CLOSER

Yeap. I will call later to see when exactly the mail on that was received on May 5th was opened to help everyone.

OMG CONGRATS!!!

I think you're the first from our Sept crew to get case complete! I'm so happy for you!!!!

Hope i am only the first of many quick case completes without any checklists.

Congratulations!!

So very happy for you and your loved one Congratulations on a job well done. :)(F)(L)(F)

If the new format of the website allows everyone to potentially 'mess up'/ delay their invoicing of the IV fee, simply through people being curious enough to click on things on the CEAC site... that would be atrocious! Bait perhaps??!!:lol:

So it's good news to hear of some people reporting that NVC reps told them not to worry. :D

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!! :dance::dance::dance:

see you on the interview thread :D

Thank you All :)

Just as a note: the birth certificate that i sent was laminated and they excepted it with out anything. So i have no idea why they are giving eveyone else such a hassle.

put me in the crystal ball too, because I'm a May 7th also! Btw, is it a guarantee that every one will get a checklist (false or otherwise), if they are being reviewed?

I'm still waiting for my 'false' checklist.
