For those of you who are sending additional evidence of genuine marriage and photos to NVC to “middle load” do you think it is necessary for someone whose wife is Japanese and do you think it is even worth doing considering my I-130 only took 22 days? I mean, the evidence submitted with the I-130 package is all at NVC right now as well right? I can’t really submit anything much newer than what I already submitted since it has only been like a month since I sent the previous evidence. Do you think I should just not bother with that stuff?

NVC does not require marriage evidences. Don't send things that are not needed, it takes longer to review overloaded package.

My case is being delayed.... because of DS 261 resubmitting.. :o:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying: ..

Please get me out from this worry

Why is that?

Hi, I have a question please, for the photo to be submitted on the IV packet.

What is the format of the beneficiary's full name? Should it be surname first? Does it need to be in block letters?

What is the format for putting in the birthday too?

I'm sorry if I'm asking very trivial questions and thank you so much in advanced. :)

Essysita, I have seen two forms of name:

SURNAME, OtherName1 Othername2 and Othername1 Othername2 SURNAME

For dates I always use: DD Month YYYY unless it specifies the format

Today would be 23 May 2014

4 months from now would be 23 September 2014

This makes it abundantly clear to anyone reading the date what it is.

Now...if the form specifies mm/dd/yyyy, then do that. But if there is no specification, I recommend DD Month YYYY

Sukie

Hey guys, I was sending my AOS package thru fedex and asking them signature required. Is it fine someone will recieve it my package if I asked signatures delivery or I need to send with no signature?

There is no special need to require signatures. Delivery w/o signature is fine. You can certainly send using USPS Express or Priority. Either way you will be able to track your package. NVC does not accept deliveries on weekends with or w/o signatures.

We don't know that for sure... Although I have the same worry, since after the ceac page changed, our ds261 went from "completed" to "not completed" so I hit submit again, and now it says completed again, but as of a date 12 days after I originally submitted. If I've lost those 2 weeks due to a computer glitch, I'll be really frustrated. But hopefully it won't be so bad!

How is it that some people get to pay the AOS and IV invoice at the same time and others (like me) have to wait for each one to be invoiced separately? I am quite frustrated with the process! Does anyone know the difference and why? Cheers!

I think it has something to do as to whether you have a lawyer or not. If you have one they both get invoiced together.

I don't understand why some people only have a few days between AOS invoice and IV invoice while others wait two weeks - like me. I certainly don't begrudge others but why am I waiting for so long.

My case is being delayed.... because of DS 261 resubmitting.. :o:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying: ..

Please get me out from this worry

From my signature you can see that we were waiting 27 business days for IV bill... I accidentally resubmit the form, I called to many times, one of the representatives check with supervisor and after 2 days we received the bill. She asked me than did i changed something and why is resubmitted, they can see it's resubmitted. Don't worry, just call, explain and ask, it's not a big deal, but delay... yes maybe is because of that.

I feel your frustration...same with me. My AOS packet scanned in 19 May but still no IV invoice....Lets hope they open it up soon for us!

Ours took a week to invoice the IV, I think Bdrew and Alejandreska had the same issue. It's frustrating. I think they're trying to even out the workload.

Yea that is what I figured. I think for most people, sending extra evidence to NVC won't make much of a difference and will just make things more difficult for them. I honestly can't say if the people from India or China who claim that the whole "middle loading" is necessary are right or not, but I think in my case it would probably be unnecessary. I just wanted to make sure. I think in this "game" we honestly have only a small degree of control of what happens to us, but within the small frame of what we CAN control, I want to make sure I get everything 100% correct.

It's honestly what you feel is best. The NVC doesn't ask for it, but it's sent with your file to the embassy anyways. I would take the proof of relationship to interview, but it's up to you.
