Do what you want BUT I only put an amount in the 2013 spot. I did not fill in the 2012 or 2011 spots and mine was accepted

I totally understand that and in the initial I 864 cover letter i she briefly touched this topic as well. What i mean to ask is, will a written statement be enough? Or will i have to provide some documentation by IRS (Form 1722 or any other form)?

The written statement with the reason why she does not file should suffice... As per I-864 instructions,

You should be fine . I know there's loads of people who haven't filed for tax years due to many reasons.. Hopefully those who have case completes (are still around) and be able to tell you it wasn't a problem for them..

Thanks for going through all that, that makes things a lot more easier. However i may be acting a bit too 'paranoid' but the sentence says:

"written explanation including evidence of the exemption and how you are subject to it" ...

What would the evidence be in this case?

yep, I didn't fill them in. I saved the form to my desktop.. just triple checked again.. I just got a new laptop in February and I didn't transfer everything over yet so I would have had to search on the old one.. And I know I didn't do that. Plus, the lawyer never asked for that info when he filled out the first one. He filled in the wrong amount LOL but never asked for the other years. That doesn't mean you wont get a checklist.. I'm just saying I didn't provide that info and mine was accepted.

You need to include the checklist with your response. So you should wait until you get the checklist email. The address will be on the Checklist.

NVC Special Instructions

This is the email that i receive today. My question is do i have to submit a new AOS form? Im confious. Coz I just gone done talking to Evette from NVC i asked her about the checklist if i need to submit a new AOS and she said i dont need to, they just want a letter of employment or recent pay stub.

What should I do guys base on your experience? Should I follow NVC's advice to just submit employment letter? Or i better send them a new AOS form?

I'm guessing if there's a reason other than having a low income, or no income at all that makes you exempt from filing a tax return you would have to show evidence for it.

I know... right? not even close.... different YEAR, Country and names DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH scary scary...

May be that explains what used to happen with USCIS also when they told people they sent RFE but people never receive them. They just send them to the wrong people.

Somebody posted a link on the DOS (I think) website that has a pdf of all the options for the ds260. There are specific qualifications (including that the intending immigrant is a man(!)) that make you fill in employment history. Very weird, if you ask me!

Yep, they updated the website last week.. A few people have asked NVC customer reps what it meant, and they don't even know . Everyone's says N/A so don't worry!

called NVC...on hold for 35mins and a very nice guy answered (forgot name). He said they got my AOS form on 5/20/14....no IV fee invoiced still and he said it will become available after AOS has been reviewed....which is again 30days! sooo waiting come on NVC!! take I want to give you my money!!

This is the SECOND security breach I've heard about today. This is unacceptable.
