Did you do an I-864 or I-864EZ? May I ask what the box was? I'm just trying to get a time line reference for mine. I'm terrified I'll be getting an AOS checklist.

I sent an email to NVC 3 weeks ago when my IV fee wasn't showing "paid"... they got around to replying today

"We received documentation for your case. Please allow 30 business days

for us to review your documents."

FYI...Apparently you do NOT have to read to be able to work at the National Visa Center.

On the I-864EZ Part 3 "Information on the Sponsor (You.)" Number 9 "Place of Residence (if different from mailing address)" make sure that you put "N/A" if it is not.

My mailing address and place of residence are the same and no where in the instruction packet does it say to place "N/A" there. Now what I thought was a "False" Checklist turned out to be a real checklist after I called to verify it was indeed a false checklist. Now I am on hold to request a supervisor review...This is BS! So pissed off I could scream!!!

On a positive note at least my civil documents cleared and this is a stateside matter!

Hi ,I called to NVC and asked that I have 2 cases .I already paid AOS fees and it is paid ,but when I am login in to second case for Cover letter it is throwing an error that

''This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted. If you believe you have received this message in error, or to resume processing of the case, please contact the NVC immediately.''

She put on hold for 20 min and said I will notify to my supervisor and he will add the AOS also as paid for second case..How much time it will take now?

Oh I am sorry to hear that.. I am not sure how long it will take them to fix it I am sure if you ask NVC they will say wait 30 days lol..

Both of our cases were linked together from the time we got the case numbers.. so I didn't have this problem.

i'm frustrated too.

i got a checklist cause of ONE wrong box in the AOS.

we sent corrected form and according to the lady my husband spoke to ... we have to wait 30 business days, 6 weeks to review ONE box.

is this normal?????????????

I feel your pain. Just happened to us on the I-864EZ Part 3, Number 9 Residence IS same as Mailing Address. No where in the instructions does it say put N/A.

I did not put N/A under Social Security or Alien Registration Number and that was okay, but nooooooooo "You have to put N/A in the Street Number Box and mail it back in. It will take another 30 business days for review." I said "Show me where it says that!" On hold to see if I can get a supervisor review. Very frustrating!

GUUUUYYYSSSS HELP PLEASE..

I have the packages ready to go.. the only thing on the AOS my joint sponsor dsn't have the documents/ transcripts for 2011.. So neither do I or him know what he made for 2011 so I can't fill in that part in the I-864 form. we tried looking online and he's not able to access his info online..(irs blocked him for 24 hrs ) He went to our local IRS office but didn't want to be in line for 1 hour.. So my thing is this.. I'm frustraded with this whole situation already.. I have everything payed ..and all I want to know is how much did he make on 2011 .. that's it...!!!! I don't want the transcript or documents.. I just want to fill out the form... what to do?????

I would wait until he can get the correct numbers online. Waiting 1 or 2 days is better than getting a checklist later on that will cost you 30 days...

Of course he won't understand the frustration you have over having to wait but it's something that we have all gone through. I understand it sucks and makes you want to yell at him to wait in the lineup or stop screwing up on the IRS site but unfortunately you can't if you want him to cooperate with you.

If he tries again with the IRS site tell him that he needs to type in his address in the exact way that is it on his tax returns. My husband did the same thing and got blocked 24 hours too. You can do this!

damn that sucks. in my opinion, they should be more explicit in the 864ez instructions and say you need to write "N/A" if it's indeed the same address...

Only the Current tax information is required the other two years are optional, but if you really do want to add those numbers than just wait until tomorrow to get the correct information

Ugh.. I just feel like sending the package like that.. "maybe just maybe they won't notice the blank spot in 2011 total income'' yeaaaaa right!!!!

Only the Current tax transcripts are required the other two years are optional, but if you really do want to add those than just wait until tomorrow to get the correct information

Apparently you don't have to be accurate either... I just opened my email and this is the NVC response I received from an email I sent on May 2nd. The good news is that it isn't taking 30 days for them to respond But keep in mind... My husband is from Costa Rica and my name is Jennifer... so see below.... It makes me so nervous !!
