Congratulations to all of you who have had Cases Complete this week.

I read every thread each night.

Has anybody heard from Blueberry Pancake. We went through September I-130 filing together.

Have a good evening.

She's in the September FB group! :-) I haven't seen her in this thread yet...

We applied April 2013. I can't stand watching the time fly by. So much time wasted that I could be with my husband !

and I hate my job too. ( I am so stressed out about this dumb job because it is soooo horrendous) Everyday I have to force myself to go to work. I can't do anything until this is nightmare is over either. I have been applying for jobs since the day I started this job. I should be grateful I even have a job, but for real.. I can't take much more. My doctor did prescribe anxiety meds but I don't like taking any kind of drugs... So I don't take them !! I have gained waight due to stress.. and being heavier than I am used to stresses me out even more !!

I'm on hold right now with NVC. I didn't call last night because I am getting really disgusted. 23 minutes and counting. I did get through the first dial though... I'll probably be on hold for 45 minutes.

Not quite 45 minutes.. This operator had a hard time speaking english... She told me they have no mail waiting for review.... I asked her to check again cuz its been there since May 8th... Then she says.. we have no email waiting for review.... NOT EMAIL MORON !!!!! I said I sent a fedex. OH, ok... its not reviewed yet !!

OH MY LORD ! ! !! ! ! Please GOD, let this be over soon !!!

I have read a good amount of this thread but there is 290 pages! So I am sorry if this has been asked already.

I was wondering....... I am currently filling out the I864 and my mother is going to be my joint sponsor. However, my parents filed taxes together. Does that mean that my dad also needs to fill out an I864 or just my mother. I get so confused with tax papers! Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Thank you

Please quote me in any responses.

Just because they filed taxes jointly doesn't mean he has to automatically file a form. He doesn't have to. Just have her include her W2s with the tax transcripts to differentiate her income. (And if you dad does decide to file, it'd be an I-864A, not an I-864).

Hey Saylin

I got approved at the LDN embassy yesterday! I just wanted to drop by and say thanks so much for all your help, particularly at NVC stage. I can't believe how stressed I made myself over the process when in actual fact it turned out to be pretty straight forward.

I'll stick around and try to help others.

All the best

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!! :dancing::dancing::dancing: I knew you could do it! :D

Give it three weeks from the 13 of May and then start calling them again every two days.

They most likely hae the email you provided to USCIS with your I-130, but still

AOS received by nvc: 30th april. Completed DS 260: 1st May. IV Packet received by NVC: 2nd May. Today I received a false checklist for AOS. My husband called yesterday they said it was a false checklist and packets are under review. So Does that mean that AOS was accepted and reviewing DS260 and IV packet? Here is the checklist

How do we get informed on interview schedule after NVC? Do we receive e-mail confirmation?

I understand interview date could be scheduled even in a few days after 'case complete', if you receive e-mail notification is there any time delay? or should we call NVC to find out what's going on without any time lag?

You'll receive an email to notify you when your interview is scheduled. Generally they're received the same day scheduling occurs, or within 24 hours. I got my notice by email and didn't have to call. I suggest you keep an eye on the monthly interview thread. If you don't get case complete just before they start scheduling, you may have some time to wait before getting news, and there's no point calling regularly when scheduling isn't occurring. If you're watching the interview thread you'll know when people start getting news, and therefore when you can start getting ready to receive some yourself :)

Should I have put the case number at the top of all pages of the AOS and IV Packages? I totally forgot to do this and have read about people doing it. Hope it doesn't cause problems....

You'll probably be fine. It's a precautionary measure in case your papers get separated, not something mandated by NVC. We're all just very paranoid around here... with good cause  Really though, it'll be ok without the numbers on each page :)

So I've noticed most people who received a case number around the same time as me already have CC and now people after me are getting CCs and I'm just sitting here, humming and waiting.... Wondering when I will see my boo thang.

I realize that was a run-on sentence and I apologize. It was also improper English and as a teacher I should know better. But this entire process gives me the right to throw all grammatical reasoning out the window.

Calling this evening so they can tell me to wait 30 business days... Again.
