CASE COMPLETE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I called at 1140 EST thinking there's no way I'll get through before they drop all calls, but at 1208 (gosh I forget who she was now ), the rep answered!! And they 'FOUND' my police certificate upon review by the supervisor, probably that 'piece of mail still listed in the mailroom' - which I assume fell off the package when they opened it to scan the barcoded sheet...

I asked her if they could possibly still be doing June interviews and she wasn't sure, but that's better than a definite 'NO'

Anyways, I'm so happy!! My heart is pounding, and I wish this feeling very soon for each of you!!!

can anyone tell me, if i need to send W2 forms too? or just 1040? or should i get tax transcripts from IRS.gov?

Tax Transcripts are preferred. Yes you can download it from the IRS website. Do not need to include W2 with tax transcript.

My wife is updating me on Facebook. So I thought I would enter it into the record here.

I leave in the morning. Flying the 787 Dreamliner. I have been mowing grass, cleaning bathrooms

and getting everything perfect for our arrival. I am hoping you get good news tomorrow.

I will checking in to see how things are going once I arrive there. Thanks for the beautiful wishes

If you're put into administrative processing once, are you immune from going through it again?

In 2009 I received clearance for a B1/B2 visa after a 13-month administrative process. Have any of us heard of unlucky souls going through it multiple times?

Completed Medical, waiting to pick up sealed packet.

June 3 is interview. Just a few more steps.

After Interview we will fill out the 'Courier Pass Back Application Form'

and have the Visa held at the Local post office that picks up mail from the

Embassy two times each day. We should get it the day it is issued or

the next day.

WOW so beautiful to see someone finally reaching the end. Still praying just in case that the interview goes smoothly, not that you will need it.

Monica2013 above just got her case# with an NVC-received of Apr 23rd. Start calling like mad. I'm 4 days behind you.

Thank you so much MoBar65, I called today twice one for my Case number and the other to ask them some questions about the AOS since no one really answered me so thank you very much. Will call again tomorrow and let you know. Good luck to you hope we both get our case numbers very soon.

OMG I hope and pray NOT, I have heard of people being put on very long AP's but they say and I don't believe them that it's because there is something that needs more review and this is done in Washington DC. Unfortunately I think it can happen but I'll be praying for you that it doesn't.

Do you know when they received your case? It took 16 days to receive my case after it was approved, and then 27 days to get my case number.

If it does happen to me again, at least I'll still be with my family. My heart really goes out to some of the cases I came across; for example couples being separated by 2-3 years of administrative processing with, yet, no end in sight.

There really should be some serious accountability, especially when a USC spouse/partner/child is victimized in this manner.

The fact that you have to wait for months, just to schedule an interview at the Cairo consulate, and to be subjected to atrocious harassment then is another thing that really gets under my skin. The volume they have to process is nothing to what Mexico, India and Philippines consulates are handling, and yet they seem to be infected by the draconian Egyptian civil service attitudes. From what has been described elsewhere, it almost sounds like visa applicants there are dealing with a US-hostile local police station, not a US consulate.

F**cking USPS. They were supposed to deliver my checklist response today and the newest update od their website says that it's going to be tomorrow. We paid for express.

The same thing happened to me. I demanded my money back and they gave it to me. If you paid for express and didn't get express than you get a refund!

Now that my husband has announced it via his own post to the CR1 forum -- I wanted him to have the pleasure of breaking the news since he endured the stress of the interview! -- I'm happy to share with you lovely people that his visa was approved this morning

Sending good vibes to everyone waiting and suffering right now. NVC is tough times lately I know there are a bunch of you waiting for imminent case completes, I'm keeping fingers crossed for you!

OMG!!! YAY!!!!! I'm so excited for you both!!! We are almost there too. Hubby's interview is in a 18 days! Congrats!!!
