Some questions I have ( i want to confirm) on the I864

Part 3 question 1:

It states " I am sponsoring the principal immigrant named in Part 2," do I and my joint sponsor check yes, correct? Yes

part 6: sponsor's income and employment

question 5: current individual income is for THIS year 2014, correct? and I figure that out by taking how much my joint sponsor makes in 40 hours and multiple that by 52 weeks?

part 6. sponsor's income and employment

for 13a,b,c do I use total income line 22 on the tax return for all three years? Use total income/line 22 if you file the 1040, but use adjusted gross for any years using the 1040EZ.

underneath question 5 where it states person 1, person 2, etc. do I include anyone on there? for example, my sister will be my joint sponsor, so when I am filling out my i864, do I add her information on person 1? or no Only if the's part of your household ie essentially that seems to include a tax dependence, so I suspect you'd be putting no.

I filed Married filing separately so I don't believe I have to worry about that piece? Also, don't have a joint sponsor as my income should be sufficient to 1 person. The only thing at this point that makes me nervous is how they are going to verify my total income if IRS hasn't processed my return. But then BOS_LHR mentioned earlier that many people's returns are not processed by IRS by the time NVC requires them and many people file for extention. So mine is not a unique case. Yet it worries me

F**cking USPS. They were supposed to deliver my checklist response today and the newest update od their website says that it's going to be tomorrow. We paid for express.

they made fun of me. 2 hours later they delivered my package.

Now that my husband has announced it via his own post to the CR1 forum -- I wanted him to have the pleasure of breaking the news since he endured the stress of the interview! -- I'm happy to share with you lovely people that his visa was approved this morning

Sending good vibes to everyone waiting and suffering right now. NVC is tough times lately I know there are a bunch of you waiting for imminent case completes, I'm keeping fingers crossed for you!

Just talked to Gus.. Told him he was awesome and people love him on VJ.

He told me that there are two packets waiting to be reviewed and after the first one is reviewed, i'll receive a checklist. He said not to worry about it and give them time to catch up to the 2nd mail.

Checked to see if AOS fee was available this morning, no luck. Received an email from NVC about 30 mins ago and went to check again, it was available and I paid it right then. I already had my AOS packet ready to ship off so I'll be sending that later today or tomorrow morning. Man that was quick LOL. Such a change from USCIS!

so i called NVC to get some answers. here's an update.

I told the lady that I sent an enroll email on may 13th and haven't received anything and apparently because my husband country is REQUIRED to do EP, I didn't have to send an ENROLL email, at least that's what the lady told me.

She wasn't helpful with the I864 form and she confused me even more. I asked her if I need to include my sister in part 6, under person 1, person 2, etc because she lives with me and is also my joint sponsor and she told me" well, we can't tell you what to do, you'll just have to guess."

Also, I got two emails from nvc in the last 45 mins. they all include this message in the body of the email, but also include attachment.

The attached correspondence relates to an immigrant visa referenced on the subject line. This case is being processed by the National Visa Center. Please read the information carefully and follow the instructions.

This message contains confidential information and is intended only for the individual named. The first email contacts info about my husband (his name and place of residence)..it also mentioned the first step is to pay the AOS fee (which i already did). I assuming they are a little late and telling me that I have to pay the AOS fee, correct?

The second email had case number, invoice number and beneficiary email.

hey guys..DS-261 completed and AOS fee paid yesterday, now how long the process is remaining?

Did you send in your AOS packet and the IV Packet? Every time you send something to the NVC, they take upto 30 business days to review it.

can someone told me how to check tracking from DHL. NVC sent my package 4 to Rangoon embassy since thursday. it show in transit. but still now, it is in transit. i want to know where it is now.
