After countless tries, I finally got through to NVC, 50 mins on hold. Unfortunately no case complete yet. Got the same story, please wait 30 business days.

So, since I had waited so damn long to just be disappointed again, I ask the guy (didn't catch his name) why on the updated ceac website, on my summary page, does it show N/A under the supporting docs column if they already have my documents.

He had no clue what I was talking about. I had to literally explain to him how I access the summary page, and what the summary page now looked like. The only thing he has to say to me is why am I checking my summary page! To which I replied, Im checking it because it was updated to provide more information, which apperently we still can't access! :bonk:

Do they think we sit around with our heads up our butts? Why wouldn't we check the CEAC?? They make no sense.... Unless you are actually going through this immigration nightmare, you have no idea how heartbreaking it is not knowing how long it will take and when it will come to an end... they just answer the phones. My lawyer thinks its ok to just let the NVC or UCSIC do their job. He doesn' t call for updates. I wonder if other people ( non-VJers) call like we do? do they sit and wait for emails from the NVC?? That would suck !

How long from this message:

"This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted. If you believe you have received this message in error, or to resume processing of the case, please contact the NVC immediately."

Can I expect to be able to have my AOS or anything for that matter invoiced. It's been almost a week :/

I have no idea if other people call, but I do feel sorry for them if they don't. Calling NVC, even if just to be told to keep waiting, still makes me feel like I have some control over this whole process! At least I can pick up the phone and badger them with questions if I want.

But good lord that guy aggrivated me! His codescending tone is what erked me. Like how dare i try to do anything but obey his wait 30 business days bullcrap!

Sounds a lot like a company I used to work for. IT and upper management develop a new website or web tool, then they forget to inform/train the operations staff. Very embarrassing to find out about it from the customers.

Good lord. Why wouldn't we check the summary page?! I tried calling this morning but the busy signal was pissing me off so I gave up lol I know it's too soon for updates anyway. I'm glad you were able to get some (none) information and thanks for sharing it with those of us with no patience for busy signals :clock:

This last wait is the icing on the cake for me. I'm so done with this.

Hi all,

So I just called the NVC and asked if my AOS and IV Packages were scanned into the system and the gentleman said that they don't get scanned, but were received on May 14th, even though UPS said that they were delivered on the 12th. Does this mean they've been handed off to a reviewer and now I have to wait 2 weeks from the 14th to hopefully have them reviewed?? Anyone? :)

Quick Question!!!

I have paid my AOS invoice since 5/7 but i'm still not being invoived the IV fee yet. Is it normal for all the time it is taking between the 2 invoices?

Thanks

Mine took 7 days (a week) from case # assigned to Aos Fee to be available. Just relax! All will be ok!!!!

I am in the same boat...paid the AOS 10 May but still no invoice for the IV portion. The website says pay now but when I click on that, there is no invoice...so frustrating!

"Scanned into the system" means it was received by NVC and now it is in the queue to be reviewed.

It akes a little more than 2 weeks now, 2 or 3 more days after the 2 week mark.
