This NVC guys are full of different version of info, we got a checklist on the 28th for 2013 w2 so we decided to call and the lady that attended to us asked us to ignore it that we are good. We had a second thought today and decided to inquire about our case and we were told by a male rep that we have to send in the 2013 w2. we dont even know what or who to believe anymore. Does this reps get paid by the number of calls they attend to in a day? Just wondering why they hurriedly give wrong info just to attend to someone else.

I don't know if you'll get a checklist or not (maybe someone else knows), but I always tell USCIS/NVC the truth.

They can see the date you filled out the form, and your medical doctor can see the dates you got vaccinated.

I just don't want to intentionally or unintentionally misrepresent any information because it's a big no-no.

Made a call to NVC before bed tonight, and I talked to the guy.

I said Im expecting my case number by next week since the NVC received my case on April 4.

Then he told me its not going be ready till May 19 according to their timeline, which is 6 weeks for entering the case into their system...!!!

I feel u guys..i paid mine on apr 24th too.. Withdrawn from my account the next day and now stin IN PROCESS.. I dont know whats going on..called NVC and they said just wait...

I spoke with a young girl named Kendall tonight. She is one of the nicest reps at NVC, no doubt. She spoke with a supervisor, and since it has been 5 business days, they acknowledge something is wrong. They say their system says "Pending" even though I see "in process". This means the system is TRYING to process the payment. Only God knows what glitch there is. They say they will look for the screenshot I sent as well. I told them that I'm not the only one, either. Let's hope they resolve this mess for all of us soon.

I talked to Amanda tonight after being on hold for 45 min. She was very nice but told me to call back in a couple of weeks...they received my case on 4 Apr 2014 as well. I will call again on Monday! Good luck to you!

ok guys...

i might be the last call in NVC tonight.

i just talked to guy

he said he received my IV package on april 21 ( that i already knew ).

but he said he still NOT review my DS 260 which i submitted on april 9th.

is this normal?

they said they will only review DS 260 while they open my IV package .

they don't open that package yet and tell me to wait ...

so how do i find out myDS 260 accepted or not???

some VJer said their DS 260 has been accepted and they knew by calling NVC..

should i call again tomorrow???

When you ask for your case number on the phone, you give in the petitoner's and beneficiary's email adresses. From that point on, all correspondence is sent through e-mail

Saylin's wiki mentions this, read it again and again and again, At first it might seem overwhelming but if you read it several times the info will sink in

According the NVC Processing Times spreadsheet, Im pretty surewe are going get the # by nextweek.

A month for entering the case into the system is way too long!!

I submitted original and a photocopy of everything in the IV package.

Hello everybody,

We called NVC yesterday to ask whether we have a Case Complete and Agent Tori (very friendly) said "I will give you an even better news, your interview is scheduled for June 2". We couldn't believe it. She said she totally understands how relieved we must feel and how exciting it must be to see the NVC process come to an end and have the date for an interview.

No Case Complete email or Interview Letter yet but it is exciting none the less.

Thank you everybody who knowingly or unknowingly helped me through the process. I am sure that this path would have been a lot longer and lonely without the information and support from VJ members. So a big Thank You once again.

Also, Congratulations to everybody who have recently completed this process and good luck to all who are still in the process or waiting for a response from NVC.

So very happy for you even if I don't know you. We are on the same boat and it's wonderful to know others are heading to shore. Much happiness to you and yours.
