I might be getting my hopes up here, but mine is the exact same. Could that mean I got a CC on Friday? (didn't call, too busy being at a bar! :rofl: )

Or does it just mean I've sent everything in?

I hope you already have a Case Complete!

The way I'm reading the new layout, though, is it is saying "Complete" for the forms DS261 and DS260... I didn't see Case Complete (could've missed...) and I can't tell if by "Complete" they mean submitted or accepted (as in "approved"). It looks to me that this is a way for NVC to acknowledge the actions WE took, if that makes sense (E.g., "we paid the bill, yes NVC received it"... "We submitted a form, "yes NVC received it")...

Haha because we are all forced to relax. We aren't able to call and post updates... I'm one of the callers this thread hates... But ask me if I care. Reading all the complaints about how often others call just makes me want to call one more time per day... I held back many comments as I was reading all of that... HA HA

I'll be calling everyday this week.. because I CAN. Once at noon and once at 10pm .

I know its hard for you to call because you're working.. we should hear something good this week. My husband keeps asking me " do you think it will be this week?" I say yes.... so it better be this week.

I can't imagine how fast the world os spinning now! I don't know of any particular hotel, but I've been using Booking.com when my husband comes visit. The reviews are pretty reliable, and they have hotels everywhere. Recently, we booked an entire apartment using airnb.com. This is also a worldwide thing, where you can rent anywhere from a room in someone's house, to an entire apartment with kitchen, laundry room etc.

What would make the hotel perfect for you? I can ask my husband if he can suggest anything :)

I'm a bit confused about this....

I'm a dependent on my dad's tax returns. I filled in a I-864 and my dad filled out the I-864A. Did we do it wrong? I read somewhere that if there is a joint sponser then the incomes do not get combined between the two sponsors. And also the petitioner has to fill in a I-864 even if they make no income.

My search so far has me here. Its near the airport, has a pool for my son and is in the 100 to 150 a night range.

Still looking will lock in tomorrow night on something. Thanks for any ideas. :)

I don't believe they indicate a CC with what we saw, as I have that too. And clicking on each item just took me to more information on required documents or the DS260 pages. I really don't understand the N/A... :blink:

I know for sure that the petitioner is required to fill out the full I-864, whether you do or do not have an income. As for the first part of your question, I'm not 100% sure. :)

I didn't indicate a case complete yet, but was just commenting that I have the same info showing on my CEAC screen as others do... unless they already did my supervisor review and I just don't know about it yet :energy:

Even if I don't get a June interview date, you can bet I'll be attempting to move it forward once the consulate has my case :yes:

The I-864A form itself isn't enough since his income is being considered since he's sending in the form. That's what the I-864A is all about, contributing income. Any and every sponsor have to include tax information. And since he's using his income to help out, he'll also need to include proof of current employment through pay stubs and/or an employment letter. Same thing goes for the main joint sponsor.

Okay I might have confused this cuz I am confused. Here it is.

The Petitioner needs a co-sponsor so they are asking a sister in law (Co-sponsor). NVC checklist them to also send in a I-864A for her husband (he is a LPR co-sponsor petitioned him in 2012) so LPR (husband) will be filling out the I-864A.

His income is not being considered the co-sponsor makes enough on her own to qualify.

So my questions are:

1. Since the co-sponsor has already sent in all the tax transcripts does the husband also have to do the same?

2. Does he have to send in paystubs and employment letter? His income is not being considered.

It amuses me how slow this page gets on the weekend!!

It is hilarious. During the week I come on in the morning and I'm like 7 pages behind. On the weekend I come on and it's like a page and a half lol.

It's nice to see that we haven't completely lost our minds and still have a life on the weekends. ;)
