I hope you get that June interview too!! :goofy:

Thanks for the link, as I too was only seeing the invoice and receipt page, or alternatively the page showing that I'm at the NVC...no matter how I tried!

I was just about to ask how to get there :secret::)

I really hope we get a June interview. My hopes got very high and I will be crushed if we don't get one!

I hope you'll get your CC soon and this nighmare will end soon for everybody!!!!

That sounds like PLENTY of proof of domicile/intent to return to the US. I (the petitioner) am in a similar situation as you and I don't even have a job lined up for when we come back to the states so I am sure all of the evidence you have is sufficient. :)

Quick question for anyone here - I am living with my wife and working overseas here in Malaysia, but we are planning on returning to USA as soon as her visa is approved. I have maintained my US address, bills, etc., and have a job offer for a firm in USA - anyone have experience of other items NVC has requested to show your proof of domicile / intent to return to USA?

From what I've read about demonstrating the US domicile / intent to return to the US, the two most important things are job and residence.

Is your job offer still valid? Most job offers are valid for 2-4 weeks so you may want to attach a letter from your employer.

Do you still keep an apartment in the US? If so, you may want to attach a copy of your lease. :)

I called NVC late yesterday and finally the good news: Case Complete! :)

The agent told me that the petitioner (our daughter) will need to redo one more time the I-864 form (we already got a check-list once), because the amount in the I-864 form still does not match those in the 2 tax forms she submitted, however this was not another check-list, rather that she would have to give us the revised form in time for the interview.

Now waiting for confirmation email and appointment date at the Paris US Embassy...

When did NVC get your I864?? thanks man

2 1/2 weeks before they looked at it from when it was loaded into the system (2-3 days after receiving it). The first time it was 2 weeks and 1 day. Pretty consistent timelines, it seems. So, don't believe the 30 business days party line, it feels more like 12-13 business days

Merci! Long journey almost done, we started the process in July last year and it looks like an early July interview from what I can guess, so nearly a year in total. The immigration lawyer had told us initially 8 months!

I'm hoping to get a June interview!

My case was completed on 15-Apr.

A friend from Morocco also had their case completed on 12-Apr and they got a 09-Jun interview.

Bonne chance

I have been able to get logged into the new system and my IV says pay now but when I click on it, it is not available to pay. Anyone else experiencing this? IE just shows garbled words but I was ok on google chrome or safari but still couldn't pay....

Next question for any Brits using a Decree Absolute....any problems with NVC accepting just the red stamp on it without raised stamp? How can you prove it is an original and not a color copy? Thanks for any assistance!

It will probably take a few hours to a couple days until you will be able to actually pay it. It's frustrating, but it will happen. For your decree absolute, didn't have one ;). But I would assume if it's a certified copy or a final decree notice it would be okay? Hopefully someone else will know that used similar!

I can't wait more..Its taking so much time... :huh2:

It can take up to a week for it to be invoiced after your case number is assigned.
