I have a question on cover sheets; specifically the ATTENTION TO-

the AOS had attention to CMR AOS

the IV package had attention CMR

on the checklist I had the cover page said attention DR

what is CMR and what is DR

any knowledge of that--

obviously the attention to determines the track it runs on and HOPING that checklists dont just get put back of the line. already waited once..

Ok.. question for you all. Looked at the new CEAC website, and of course under the supporting docs both for IV and AOS it shows N/A.

Is there anyone out there that has something different?

Hey guys!! I have a question...

My husband sent wrong Bar Coded Cover Sheet for AOS, he sent one for Packet 4 instead. Will we get check list????

When I realized our lawyer made a huge mistake in the AOS 1 day after he sent it, I just printed out the Barcode page and resent the corrected AOS. There is a different barcode for checklists( dept cade) and for IV packages BUT NVC told me it is just a matter of walking it over to the correct dept.

It will get scanned with your case number so they will know there is mail waiting for review for your file. Its all good. Don't worry.

I imagine we are lucky it rolled out without more issues. Maybe that part will rollout at a later date.. Hopefully after I am long gone. I don't need anymore delays. It is about time they decided to add a status update on the site to take care of some of the phone calls. I am sure people will still call so they know earlier. NVC doesn't exactly work fast these days.

Hey guys, hope someone can help me out here in regards to I-864, my husband and I have been living out of country for the past 6 years and have filed no taxes as we were told there was no need because his income was low; Should I send copies of the last taxes declaration we have along with an explanation letter ? Do I find myself a co sponsor or do I wait until they review and they let me know ? ... Thank you for any reply that may help

Things are moving so fast now...got all the tickets bought now just need to find the perfect Hotel in LA....any suggestions from any member greatly appreciated.

There is a Courtyard by Mariott($129), Sheraton ($125), Crowne Plaza ($97), and Radisson ($106) very very close to the LAX airport. All of them have free shuttle to-and-from the airport. Some have free breakfast. They are all on the Century Blvd (same road the airport is in).

You will absolutely need a co-sponsor. There is no point waiting and delaying the processing of your application. The co-sponsor will need to fill in I-864 and attach the whole 2013 federal tax package and all the W2s, 1099s etc. The other option is to attach the 2013 Tax Transcript that you can download from the IRS website.

Fantastic .. so basically that feature is useless for now. And I agree with you LoveMyTico.. No more delays! Though you would think that if they added it, they would make sure that it works..

nvc said they had the paperwork on 13 may but could not give a case number for 6 weeks?

um?????????????? help

Your I-130 was approved on April 29. NVC acknowledged receiving it May 13. Give them at least 4 weeks (from receipt date) to assign Case #.

Greetings NVC Filers - we're excited to be here after hanging out in the June 2013 I-130 filers forum for the last 10 months! Hopefully, things will go faster here...

Quick question for anyone here - I am living with my wife and working overseas here in Malaysia, but we are planning on returning to USA as soon as her visa is approved. I have maintained my US address, bills, etc., and have a job offer for a firm in USA - anyone have experience of other items NVC has requested to show your proof of domicile / intent to return to USA?

That sounds like PLENTY of proof of domicile/intent to return to the US. I (the petitioner) am in a similar situation as you and I don't even have a job lined up for when we come back to the states so I am sure all of the evidence you have is sufficient.
