I'm depressed tonight. I talked to Rosa, and she was friendly, but not very helpful. I sent my response to the bogus checklist (NVC is incorrect) on May 7th, and USPS says it was delivered the morning of May 8th. And yet, it was not scanned in until May 14th. Rosa said - it's 30 WORKING days from the time of response for anything. I asked specifically what the response time was for attorneys who write to the NVCAttorney email box - and she said 30 working days.

If it takes six weeks for them to even look at the explanation of why they are wrong in the first place, we will not get an interview until August. I'm really so unhappy tonight. It's going on too long for something that is THEIR mistake. And...they will not do a supervisor review - I asked.

My AOS and IV packets, and my DS-260 were all submitted on April 9th. We should have had Case Complete by the end of April - and now it looks as if we may even miss the July interviews!

That will mean we will have been in the system over 14 months by the time my partner can get to the US. It didn't do me a damned bit of good to be super prepared, with everything ready to go. All because a reviewer cannot interpret the requirements for a Police Report correctly.

Is CEAC site down? I saw our DS-261 and fees were ready this morning, but I cannot access to CEAC site now... Grrr.

Also when I checked it this meaning, both AOS and IV Fee seemed to be ready as both fees had PAY option right next to them. Does it mean we can pay both fees at the same time?

It's happening a lot quicker than we expected, so our documents are not catched up with the pace.

thanks mobar am aware of someone that had case shipped same day as me to nvc as has case number so in some instances they must be past april

I've seen it happen twice during the past two months. Both cases assigned case numbers the day they were received. Either NVC has its own monthly lottery or someone there likes to play God.

The rest of us have to wait a month or so. I don't expect mine for another two weeks.

OMG!!! Guys!!! I had my hubby to call his embassy today to ask for an earlier date

Aaaaannnnnddddd............. They moved it from June 16th to June 5th!!!!! I'm so incredibly excited! I know it's only 11 days but it makes it so much easier for us as far as traveling and work and stuff! Yay!!! Whooooo hoooooooo! :)

It does seem like they're switching things around on the ceac site tonight. And it's still not working properly... Different order for the sign in input, and then the screen was all jumbled. I'll try again tomorrow.

Visiting Portland this weekend... I didn't have any trouble at the land border but we had to wait for AGES for my sister's fiancé (UK citizen-what's with us and the foreigners?) to get his $6 visa. I sure hope there are more officers working when I do my POE... It was like at the bank when you see 6 people behind the counter and none of them are helping customers!!!

Good morning everyone..! They were doing maintenance work on the ceac website last night, and if you go into your case, they added two new boxes where it lists your AOS documents and IV docs.. I guess they were getting tired of people calling them asking if they were accepted or not? ;). Who knows what they will be used for, but for now ours has N/A in them :). We shall see..! Does anyone know if they're still doing over time over the weekend? Or is that done with :P

i have n/a as well. all i know is that they accepted all the docs, besides my joint sponsors aos (corrected and sent).

Hello and welcome, my case was approved from USCIS on April 8Th and received at NVC April 25. Have you called them yet to see if they have received your files yet? If not call NVC at (603)334-0700 from 7am to Midnight Eastern time. Try to call after five you will miss the more grumpy

people that work there like Joy and Arthur if you get them when calling in the morning just hang up. ;) hahaaaa :rofl: :rofl: I mean your husband should
