Question:

I stupidly filed an old version of the I-184 AOS document. I have to resend it but I also have to resend the W2, Tax and Proof of Employment docs. I had also sent in a stack of forms for proving Domicile. Do I have to resend all those as well? It does not say anything about Domicile documents.

The letter states the following:

The sponsor or joint sponsor submitted an obsolete Affidavit of Support form. You can obtain an up-to-date version on U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services website: http://uscis.gov/i-864

If the sponsor or joint sponsor already submitted any of the following documents, he or she must resubmit them with the up-to-date Affidavit of Support form:

* Form W-2, Wage and Tax Statement
* Federal Income Tax Return or Transcript * Proof of Current or Self-Employment

Why NVC take so long to invoice the IV fee???????????????? AOS fee showed paid since may 10... cant wait anymore .....

After waiting 5 weeks for NVC to receive our file, we got our case # 2 days later. Quick question, are the IIN and BIN usually assigned at the same time? They said that info wasn't available.

BIN is not used any more. But you will need both Case # and IIN to be able to log in to the CEAC website. So call them Monday.

I would recommend that you send them the whole AOS package, again. Why send them part of it and risk another check list because they could not match it with your previous package. Maybe this time you should also attach a letter on top (right underneath the bar-coded sheet) explaining that this is a resend. Attach the check list, too.

you should ALWAYS write down TRUE FACTS. Either you did have jobs or not.

You are affirming under oath that all the information provided is true to the best of your knowledge.

If you provide conflicting information, it could be a problem.

Hi everybody! Got my case number and IIN April 12, but now when i log in is shows that my case is in the proccess of temination and that i cannot make online payments, is that a website error or is that something i should be worried about? And also how long after case number assigned can i start making my payments? Would appreciate some answers.

That is normal. Give them till Monday or maybe Tuesday and you will be able to start the DS-261 and AOS process.

Slightly off-topic as it relates to employment-based applicants: Isn't the BIN required to fill the DS-260 for the derivatives (spouse and kids)?

Can you explain why you wrote one way in G-325 and another way in DS-260? You either worked or did not. Which is it? All these documents will get into your package and be at the consulate/embassy for the interviewer to look at. So expect him/her to ask you questions about it.

In form g-325 asked for last five years. I had job 2008-2012. In form 260 asked for job last 10 years so i wrote in form-260 i had job.

OMG!!! Guys!!! I had my hubby to call his embassy today to ask for an earlier date

Aaaaannnnnddddd............. They moved it from June 16th to June 5th!!!!! I'm so incredibly excited! I know it's only 11 days but it makes it so much easier for us as far as traveling and work and stuff! Yay!!! Whooooo hoooooooo!

Thanks etraingais for ur reply. My agent asked me to fill up form form-230 send me. So i fill up form 230 and sent him. I will ask my agent if he fill in form-260 no jobs.
