Spoke to NVC today (don't remember the girl's name) - thought I'd report in case it helps anyone. When we filed our petition, we used my married name, but my passport was still in my maiden name. When we received our AOS info, it has my maiden name.

Apparently, this is not something that will be fixed just through me sending in my IV documents using my new name. I actually had to send in a separate email with the scan of my new passport (to the NVCinquiry address) specifically asking that my name be updated to match my passport.

I thought there must be more of us who sent in the petition before they completed the name change process, so I hope this helps!

I am so looking forward to Prague!!! I live in Minnesota, and I've been looking at Icelandair which actually has reasonable prices for multi-destinations. If everything goes to plan and we get a July interview, I can fly from Minneapolis to London, then from Prague to Minneapolis for $1800 (the trip from London to Prague was paid for with British Airways rewards). I think my husband's one-way from Prague to Minneapolis is $800?

Prague is beautiful and def more romantic than overrated Paris. I'm in love love love with this city. I spent there 10 days with my husband (boyfriend back then and had time of my life.

Great prices, comfort, good location - tram is right behind the corner and you can easy get to the downtown, many good restaurants around.

I recommend to use trams and subway, fast, easy and cheap (~ 16$ for 3 days pass)

If you need to use a cab look for AAA company, they don't cheat.

i just had a feeling, thatyou would get good news once you finally got through calling to NVC!

Incorrect it works for multiple cats because it self cleans after each cat uses it. They are FABULOUS!

Yes USCIS....NVC....nightmare is the accurate word for those organizations from top to bottom.

The threads are replete with personal accounts to support this yet of late I have read some comments

that sound more like a phenomena I would like to describe as Immigration Stockholm Syndrome

Till now no NVC number .People already got the NVC number who are in same as mine timeline to received the Case by nvc....

It is so hard to wait...

I know how you feel mine was approved April 8 and apparently received April 25 Th still have a few days to go but will call tomorrow just in case.

I expect to hear nothing yet but wait 30 days. So your not alone I'm right there with you.

If you had recieved this checklist before and sent it in--- then I would call them and see if they got it reviewed. how long has it been since the first notice of a checklist -?

I have never had a checklist before this. I originally sent my AOS package in two separate packages, one that had everything in it and another that was a "stand-alone" co-sponsor package because in the original package I caught a mistake after I sent it. So the stand-alone package was corrected but didn't have my docs in it, only the co-sponsor doc. So I called NVC and they said maybe they have only reviewed the co-sponsor package and haven't gotten to the other one yet. :/

So just to clarify, you are the US citizen and your husband is the beneficiary? (Since you said you sent your passport during the I-130 petition but only the petitioner’s would be required… right?

So my question is, did your passport ONLY have your maiden name in it or was the biographical information page unchanged but it had the name correction page on the next page stating your married name? I ask because my wife who is Japanese and the beneficiary has a Japanese passport that was corrected to have my last name listed on the following page but her biographical information page still has her maiden name. Do you think this will cause any problems?

Same here I just wish there was something I could do to pay this angel including Changoi (sorry spelling) for all their help and kindness and a whole

bunch of others also. Just amazing human beings that give me hope after all this nightmare. All I can do is keep them in my prayers.
