Does NVC will mail you a letter once they receive your petition approval?

No. You will have to call the NVC to find out if it has been received. I would wait at least a week or two from the date of your NOA2 before you start calling. :)

P.S. I was explaining the spreadsheet to my hubby last night and he is amazed and impressed that you stick around and help us all out. "Respect" were his words exactly :D

If I were to move, my first choice would be Orlando. But alas, my husband hates the heat and doesn't exactly want to move away from his family. I'm actually quite surprised we moved up to Fargo as we're now 2 hours away from his nearest family :whistle:

If I were to move, my first choice would be Orlando. But alas, my husband hates the heat and doesn't exactly want to move away from his family. I'm actually quite surprised we moved up to Fargo as we're now 2 hours away from his nearest family :whistle:

Hubs is happy we don't live near his family (needy drama) or mine (over bearing nosy.)

Yeah but the northeast would give you and your husband each the weather you love in turn, and it'd bring you back closer to Montreal! :lol: Portland Maine has a ferry to Nova Scotia now, I can't wait to take it with the husbandperson this summer. We're very excited for Canadian funtimes!

So our NOA2 on the I-130 said I (the beneficiary) was in the US. Many people told us to ignore that, but since it said that the only way to send to the NVC was to file a I-824 (Action on an Approved Petition). Turns out we didn't need it, so it cost us $485 but we aren't complaining. If we went down that process it could add up to 3 months.

Yeah, after Florida, probably the north east would be my next choice (or Seattle maybe). I visited Boston twice a few years and loved it there! :)
