NVC Filers - May 2014

I just had a funny thought... Having lived in Honduras and built a home there, and processed my own residency while I lived there, got married there, had a child there, had some surgery there, traveled through out Honduras and surrounding countries - etc etc- I know that GETTING THINGS DONE in Honduras sometimes is a gamble.....

I am thinking about the actual interview day now- the Embassy is run by the US State department, so I should not have to "factor in" the Honduran factor....

made me chuckle to myself...... I am hoping sooooooo much to RETURN within a few days of the interview WITH my family--- God willing.

Yes USCIS....NVC....nightmare is the accurate word for those organizations from top to bottom.

The threads are replete with personal accounts to support this yet of late I have read some comments

that sound more like a phenomena I would like to describe as Immigration Stockholm Syndrome

Hello vj members! I found this site through a friend and thought someone here might be able to help me.

my question is to any of the members that got their PCC done in Mumbai, India. I just filled out the AOS fee and form and next is the IV fee and form. I was told by a family member that PCC takes about a week or two to do but my husband registered online at Passport seva to get passport clearance and the automatic date generated to get it is June 19th, this is a while from now! I was wondering if there is a quicker way to get the passport clearance in Mumbai? PLEASE HELP we do not want to wait a over a month to just get the PCC!!

I called and talked to a nice woman. I was told they have not recieved our package. I said I have the delivery conformation. Was told to resend them as they are not there. Now it will be a late July or early August interview at best. Need to talk to my wife before we go any farther. I am flying over there end of the month. Was thinking she could return with me and spend the summer here and return when we send the forms in again. Will see what she thinks about that.

. They can refund me back the $425 for the 10 months my file was stuck there..!! We're hoping no later than August.. as we found one way tickets back to Florida for $300 per person.. Which is rare, and one way tickets tend to be more expensive than return!

sometimes to the point of defending and identifying with the NVC Agents that have harmed so many.

These are the very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do,

these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy.

You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged.

And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.

Hi USCIS2013, your case number will come soon! Probably within the next couple of days, i kept calling them when it was just about 30days from NVC receiving the case...hang in there!!

Not sure where your spouse is from in India but i hope you guys got the PCC....in Mumbai it apparently takes a while! We are trying to figure out if there is a way to do it faster but no luck so far
