Nvcresearch?? When do u send ur email to tht address?

We send email to that address (NVCResearch) when our petition is not received by NVC for a long period of time. I was told to send that email 43 days after NVC didn't receive my case and USCIS was insistent that they had mailed the case.

I'm the beneficiary, wife of USC.
12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."
7/1/2014: Case received at NVC.
7/14/2014: NVC case number assigned.
8/1/2014: AOS and IV fees invoiced.
8/2/2014: AOS and IV fees paid.
8/5/2014: AOS and IV fees status changed to paid.
8/6/2014: AOS and IV packages mailed, completed and submitted DS-260.
8/7/2014: AOS and IV packages delivered to NVC.
8/8/2014: AOS and IV packages put into the system (scanned).
9/20/2014: Get the 60-day email.
9/30/2014: Case Complete!
10/3/2014: Interview scheduled for November 7.
10/20/2014: Medical appointment.

11/07/2014: Interview.

11/29/2014: POE JFK.

I think the interview date depends on the location and if it is a high demand place. Also, if you get a case complete toward the end of a month, you should get an interview date soon after.

You're almost there. If you haven't gotten a June interview date, then July for sure. Can you hold on a couple of more months? We are just about half way thru May already.

Yes, I definitely can. I keep telling him this will give me more time to get everything together, save a bit more money, etc. PLUSSS i've seen more interviews made!! Hopefully , they were wrong about no more june interviews!

:dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing: Interview Scheduled today!!!! JUNE 25th!!!! :dancing::dancing:

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!

Case complete as of today!!!!!!!!

WOOOHOOOOOO Maybe we'll see each other at the embajada ;)

Looks like reports of no more June interviews were greatly exaggerated....

And we call her Miss Nasty Pants AKA Joy. Poor thing sorry you got her on the phone, someone needs to speak to a Supervisor about her and put her in her place. Enough is enough we shouldn't have to take this C_ _P from anyone with all the stress we are under. :(

 Forgot I bet she did hang up on you! We need to revolt against the evil ones. :D

It wasn't Joy, but I can't remember what she said her name was...Andrea? Angela? I can't remember. I wanted to call back and complain but it was late and I couldn't be bothered waiting on the line for another 40 minutes :-/

Hey guys! Hope everyone is having a good morning.....just got off the phone with Waldo and I asked if they had received both my packets (since I did send them together) he confirmed they received them on May 6th and are currently under review. I also also asked about the DS260 if it had been approved and he said to allow 30 business days for them to review it and to please feel free to call them at anytime and they would verify if it had been attached to my file. And so now I sit and wait again for another week or so before I'm tempted to call again :clock: :clock:

I'm hoping that them reviewing my case means it being worked on right?? (fingers crossed for no checklists)

ooh you must have a fancy one! that does special things?

I spent a lot on my automatic cat feeder, but was worth every penny, as i go away a lot-- to see husband :)-- and my neighbour looks in on them every day or so to scoop poop, but their food comes out twice a day- brilliant thing! - Super Feeder.

Yeah, it's a self-cleaning litter box. Basically, after the cat does their business, a rake goes through and pushes the poop to the front, underneath a box. Then, about once a month for one cat, you take out the box from underneath and throw it out. You can see it here: http://www.amazon.com/Brilliant-Pet-PAL00-14242-ScoopFree-Self-Cleaning/dp/B000ELUQQS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1400159573&sr=8-1&keywords=scoopfree+self-cleaning+litter+box I just wish she would start using it. We're running low on the transition litter we got from the shelter and I really don't want to buy anymore of that regular stuff  So, if anyone has awesome litter transition tips, I'm listening! :jest:

Lakehouse,

you're always helpful and I really appreciate that :)

It's a pleasure. After all the help I've received, it's only natural to do what I can to help others :luv:

okay, i am freaking out. I am looking over my i864 document and i noticed that it said SECURED next to the name of the file when I open it. I downloaded into from the NVC website and saved it to my computer and filled it out. DId everyone had the same thing? If not, how do I fix it? I don't want NVC to not be able to open it :crying:

I think Cangirl was given advice just a few pages back about un-securing her joint sponsor's files, check it out. Otherwise, in my limited techno-skills world, I would print it and scan it into a new unsecured file

 FINALLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.............................. :dancing:

12th JUNE it is......................... so happyyyyyyyyyyyyy.....................

Just called NVC, was on hold for 45 mins...but it was worth it... got the news.. interview scheduled......less than a month...omg.......

YAY!!!! June interviews still rolling in, AWESOME!!:dance::dance:

Hi there, my husband sleeps now, so we both work on this :) He spelled name right as my name is Maria, there is nothing to confuse on that name and surname is also correct, we have same surname.

Should be there my name or not? Items 2 through 6.f. /he stated my full name/ is not a spouse or child of the principal applicant; therefore, you cannot list him or her in this section.

Thank you.

It's still in your best interest to give NVC a call to find out what happened.

If you sort that out, and correct the other financial info requested, you shouldn't get another checklist for the same document.

Interview scheduled yesterday for June 11 at 7 am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck everyone. Hope you hear good news very soon!

Unbelievable!!!! Congrats to you!! :dance::dance::dance:
