Yelled?

How? Why? :o

He yelled at me because I tried to give him my DOB when he asked for my name. But other agents have asked me in the past. He was all like, "I DON'T NEED YOUR DATE OF BIRTH MA'AM!" He is a little high strung lol.

Fingers crossed for you etrangais!

But according to WIKI EP process is not enable for all the countries .Mine is INDIA,to send packages for me it is disable.Still can I enroll EP for Email? How?

You're having a little trouble understanding it seems.

Enroll is for EP, which you don't do, but what you DO do is call NVC to give them your email addresses so that future notifications from NVC come via email to both of you. You'll send your packages by snail mail.

Hope that helps

Yes, I am the only sponsor, but are there any other requirements that I need to meet for that form?

Requirements:

1: You are the person who filed or is filing out the form I-130 Petition for Alien Relative, for a relative being sponsored;

2: The relative you are sponsoring is the only person listed on Form I-130 petition;

3: The income you are using to qualify is based entirely on your salary or pension and is shown on one or more Forms W-2 provided by your employer(s) or former employers(s).

This final wait for a case complete is killing me!!!!!!!!

You're telling me...

I've kind of given up. It happens when it happens. It is out of my control and there is nothing else I can do about it. So I'm holding off until Friday to call so they can tell me Nothing again. At this point there is no chance for a June interview anyway.

Crisis resolved! The last update said "please contact DHL" and I nearly lost my mind! I called them, and the ding dong at the shipping facility typed in the zip code incorrectly. It was fixed and they just needed the customer to call to get a new tracking number.

IV will be delivered tomorrow! And then we wait!

That's by phone! The online one is immediate if I understand correctly, so don't panic, get the transcripts online!:dancing:

GUYS!!!! Called NVC today and a lovely guy told me it was received yesterday (13th may) SO HAPPY!!!! :dancing:

Yay!! Love that feeling :D

Hello VJ family. I have been keeping away from the NVC threads because even though my petition was approved on March 6, NVC still hasn't received it. I sent an email to NVC Research on April 21 and got the following reply today, May 14:

Dear Sir/Madam,

The National Visa Center received your inquiry and the attached I-797

Notice of Action - Approval Notice. Unfortunately we do not have a

record of receiving your approved petition from the Department of

Homeland Security's Office of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

(USCIS). To assist you in determining the location of your petition the

NVC will contact USCIS on your behalf for information on the location of

this petition.

Sincerely,

Jess

That is so incredibly unfortunate... no one should have to go through what you have! :(

Let's hope they track it down quickly and then expedite it because of their mistake ^_^

It "cracked" you up???!!!

hahahaha! Took me a moment, but you got me!

Can anyone else please chime in here? I am filing for my spouse, so she is not bringing any other members with her. The I1864 instructions say to leave anything that doesn't apply blank. Will we get checklists for this?

Hopefully not! It seems the 'mailing address if different than above' line is the one most commonly at fault for checklists, so at least fill that in with 'as above' or something. (That is if you haven't already sent it in)

Hmm.. We obviously all have a desire for more information than the average person (or we wouldn't be here), but sometimes it is really helpful and even necessary for me to take a step back from both this site, but the whole process, and simply let things happen as they are anyway without my constant concern or involvement.

This won't be a popular opinion here, but when calling NVC every few hours with no different result only makes you more unhappy, that is your sign that you're making things worse on yourself. Calling once a day, or once every 2-3 days, won't change the end result but hopefully will calm the exposed nerve that is never allowed to heal by a constant expectation for information and updates that won't come.

I completely agree. I have been miserable the past couple of weeks and this past weekend I made a vow to just take a step back and allow things to just happen. I called Monday because I wanted to make sure my IV package had been accepted (I was terrified that it wouldn't be) and then unexpectedly called yesterday because I received a Greek Checklist (seriously?). Now I will just wait until Friday to call them again.

Meanwhile, I will work on getting the house ready for my man and I will work on being happy and normal again.

Finally today I called the NVC to find out they received our case file on May 7th. Olivia is who I spoke with and she said to call back 20-30 days after the receive date. I said okay ill call back on the 27th is that okay? She chuckled then said yes that is fine. I don't really know when I should call back. The 27th does make it 20 days since the received date. Should I call back sooner? Any suggestions, Im excited to spend this money I have been hoarding.

I third that agreement, tired of the angst, calling twice a week seems excessive to me, BUT I dont want to waste any days so I am following that pattern, and preparing our home for my family, every day when I see something I know my wife will like, I think wont it be great to come back here with my family.... then back to the waiting game.

the end is near!!! keep the faith!!!

I feel your pain. I too have gained some weight and I have never had difficulty sleeping until recently. I am not so much tired of the waiting, but of the emotional exhaustion I have felt. And I just remind myself that there are people who waited way more than I did at the USCIS stage.

Plus, I made peace with the fact that I won't have a June interview. Now if they could just schedule me for an early July interview, maybe even late June one, that would be fab! (wishful thinking...again)
