have u received the case number. did they also send you any letter regarding your case number and procedure or only to your petitioner plz reply me i am confused

You need to call NVC to find out your Case # and IIN. At the same time you should give them your (petitioner) email ID (which they may already have) and also the beneficiary's email ID. From then on NVC will send all communication by email to both these email IDs. No postal mail will be used.

Once you have your Case # and IIN you should be able to log in to CEAC website and do all the business on the website. In other words you should not wait for their email to arrive (they are pretty slow in sending out emails).

Please fill in your Timeline as that helps everyone. Also, review the NVC Guide linked in the first post in this thread. It is very well written and a very valuable resource that answers most your questions.

Is there a similar thread, spreadsheet, updates to sign up for, for K1 Visa applicants?

Confirmed this morning via a telephone call to the good people who staff the NVC. :dancing: No interview date yet, though hoping for June.

We send our hopes for a quick conclusion to All of you as well!

I, the beneficiary, was cc'd in the email from NVC giving our case number.

It essentially stated:

If you need to give us a new address, please email nvcinquiry@state.gov or call us at 603-334-0700.
Your first step is to pay the Affidavit of Support (AOS) processing fee ($88.00 USD). If you have an
attorney, we also sent an invoice to him or her. You should coordinate payment with your attorney of
record so you do not pay the fee twice.
To pay the AOS fee, go to immigrantvisas.state.gov anc click Pay the Affidavit of Support
processing fee.
However, we used the CEAC site directly, using the link in Saylin's wiki.

Beneficiary - Applying for CR1/IR1 (but also played the K3 card prior to understanding it may be phased out.)

2013: July 20: I-130 sent (Chicago lockbox)

July 24: I-130 NOA1

July 24: I-129F sent (Dallas Lockbox)

Aug 2: I-129F NOA1

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 10 - NOA2

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

April 7 - CASE NUMBER yay! IIN and BIN obtained and email given.

April 9 - DS261 available and filled in online.

April 9 - AOS not yet payable but visible.

April 10 - email regarding NVC case number and access to DS261 received/ email regarding AOS received and paid.

April 11 - AOS sent by snail mail.

April 14 - AOS arrived per mail tracking.

April 15 - IV bill received via email, IV bill paid/ in process, IV package sent.

April 18 - IV bill showing paid/ DS-260 available and done!

- AOS scanned into their system.

April 21 - IV package arrived per mail tracking.

April 24 - IV scanned into their system.

May 2 - False checklist for IV documents= AOS approval.

May 13 - NVC rep reported ? missing Police certificate via my phone call.

- Supervisor review initiated.

May 14 - Checklist for Police certificate came via email.

- Sent checklisted documentation priority post!

May 15 - Package delivered per mail tracking.

May 19 - Case COMPLETE!! Police certificate found by NVC:)

May 28 - Case complete email arrived.

May 30 - Assigned Interview date!

June 2 - Interview letter arrived via email.

June 11- Medical appointment Surrey, BC

July 8 - Interview in Montreal!! APPROVED!!!!!!!! July 10 - Visa package and passport in hand!! July 23 - POE!!

Oh, I'll need to submit my partner's 2013 tax transcript, correct? I mean it's May so I'd think you'll get checklisted if you didn't include your 2013 tax documents. :oops:

Sent application to Lewisville, TX on 07/03/2017. Case received and check cashed on 07/11/2017. Biometrics: 08/03/2017. In Line for Interview: 09/05/2017. Interview scheduled: 09/18/17 (notice received 09/21/17). Interview date: 10/23/2017. Oath date: 11/02/2017. Passport received: 11/20/2017.

 

REMOVING OF CONDITIONS (I-751):

Vermont Service Center received package on Aug 18th 2016.

NOA 1 date: Aug 19th 2016 (received letter on Aug 24)

Biometrics date: Sept 23rd 2016

Approval Notice: Jul 24th 2017

Green Card Received: Aug 4th 2017

I'm from the September filers group, and we were just contacted by NVC yesterday by email with our NVC case number and instructions on the AOS form and fee as well as information on filling out the online DS-261 form. Getting excited here! Things are coming along! Good luck to all!

Look in the K1 forum. But since K1 applicants don't pay bills or send paperwork to NVC, I highly doubt there's a NVC thread for K1s...

I waited about 35 minutes on hold and the representative told me that our case had not arrived yet and that we should wait about 5 weeks. Of course it will probably not take 5 weeks, so I will probably call again on Monday. Our NOA2 date was April 17 and the case was shipped to the NVC on April 23.
