Thank you all so much for your helpful replies. I can't tell you how much it means, because I am panicking about this checklist! Let me get this straight -- if I redo my paperwork, would I do one I864 for me, list all household members, then the I-864A for my parents? I will have to look into it tommorrow when I go to the cyber cafe with the printer, send everything signed by DHL to my parents, have them sign, then fedex it all to the NVC... Is there any way that I could speak with a supervisor to explain and find out for sure how this all needs to be submitted, just in case it's okay to leave it how it is already?

By the way I'm calling the NVC again, fourth time today... I'll say hello for everyone haha

Do your parents have access to email and a printer? Because then you could fill out the form, save it (or what I do if it won't save is "print" it as a PDF) and then email it to them. They print it out on their end, sign it, and fedex it either to the NVC or to you, and you send it to the NVC.

Saves one overseas courier cost, anyway... just a thought.

Saves one overseas courier cost, anyway... just a thought.

They do, but my updated I-864 will need my original signature... unless you're suggesting the very tempting idea of having one of my parents sign for me. It would save me 90 bucks not having to send DHL. And the package would get there faster...

Yes, I see this has been answered, but I'm hoping it really does only take a couple of days. Some people last week were waiting longer but hopefully since the NVC's IT people were working on the system on Saturday, it will clean up the processing (online, anyway!)

One more thing about this - there will be another option when you fill in the DS261 to put your emails in the system.

And I wonder if that's what happened to whoever was talking yesterday about having been "accidentally" enrolled in EP? (Sorry, I don't remember who it was)

But In WIKI It mentioned that IF I have a lawyer then it will be bypassing DS261 .I think as soon as I will get the IV bill will be invoiced at or around the same time as the AOS bill.

So How Can I enter it in the system?

Does the $165 extortion fee have to be drawn from a us acct like the AOS and IV fees?

You can use a valid credit or debit card, or U.S. bank checking account and routing numbers.

I really want to write a check and write "extortion fee" in the memo.

Hey guys, after you've paid the fees and it has been deducted from your account, how long will it take to show as paid?

I paid my AOS fee on March 7th around 11 am, it was deducted from my husband's account on May 10th, and it showed as 'paid' exactly at midnight of that same day (which means it was already May 11th) :):yes:

IV package sent this morning! Now we get to wait! Again!

Just to make sure I'm understanding this clearly, did your Dad put you as a dependant on his tax returns?

Bdrew and jsumner, our timelines are very similar :) we might get CC on close dates! Hopefully no checklists for us :dancing:

I would think scanning copies would be fine, and of course you realize you'll have to get your hands on those originals that you've ordered (or the ones currently lost in space somewhere :wacko: ) before the interview :luv:

I'm not sure why you've tied these two together...as they're not dependent on each other. Your joint sponsor can be anyone from the US.

My last question of the day is should I only send the updated I-864 and I-864A, even though the organisation of the entire original package won't make any sense now (for example the tax transcripts, photocopies of my parents' passports)... or does that not matter

Finally talked to an agent! The IV package has been reviewed and accepted (no checklist, yay). The lady said they received "something" on Friday (USPS tracking said they received the checklist response on Thursday 8th), does this mean it is scanned or just that it is sitting in the mailing room? (It should be reviewed 2 weeks after being scanned, just so I know when we could get CC...*dreaming*)

He is a US citizen, lived in the UK, now moved back to the US. I am French, we met in 2010 in the UK and got married in March 2013 in France.

It seems like the "out of office reply" means that the email got through and is now in the queue to be answered! :dancing:

As everyone told me I have to call them and provide my email adress as soon as I have my case number ,But here you mentioned that you go a head and enroll for email .How did you have done it by yourself.?
