How did can I enroll for my email and benifacry email after the case number asigned ,since there is no link I found to enroll in WIKI.

Can you plz help me?

What info I will get after enroll in Email ?

Remember, there's a difference between EP and receiving emails from NVC.

Anyone (and I recommend everyone) can give over both email addresses to a NVC operator, so that all communication from NVC is sent by email.

EP, on the other hand, is for the petitioner and beneficiary to send to NVC packages by email. Not everyone is eligible for this. And if you read the wiki, there's a link showing which countries are eligible. Yours, India, is not one of them. So, you can't enroll in EP.

Call NVC. Give them your email ID and also rhe beneficiary's email ID. After that both of you will receive every communication via email from NVC including the Case Complete email and interview letter email (P4).

Thanks Alot.

I just called to NVC and they mentioned to wait some more days for the case number to assign . :clock: It is almost a month . .It is so hard to wait so much..I will try calling them everyday If I can get case number as soon as they will provide me case number over the phone I will give my email adress and banificay email adress..

Hey guys, after you've paid the fees and it has been deducted from your account, how long will it take to show as paid?

From Saylin's WIKI

Step 4 - AOS Package

Once the AOS fee appears as PAID in the payment portal (which typically just takes a few business days after you pay it), you can send the AOS package. This package is all about the petitioner and whether or not they can financially support the intending immigrant(s).

You don't need to wait for instructions from NVC about sending the package. As long as the respective bill has been paid in the payment portal, you can send in your package.

  • Note: members have had luck sending the packages as soon as they pay the bills (since the bar-coded cover sheet becomes available after paying). If you're not going to wait for it to appear as PAID in the portal, at least wait until the money has cleared the bank account.

The address to send the package can be found on the bar-coded cover sheet from the payment portal. And it doesn't matter where the package is sent from (either in the US or abroad). As long as NVC receives it, that's all they care about.

  • Note: the two packages (AOS and IV) can either be mailed separately or together. Either one works. Again, as long as NVC receives it, that's all that matters. If you do decide to mail them together, I suggest putting each in a separate manila envelope (and clearly mark it and write "AOS" or "IV" on each one), then putting both manila envelopes inside the shipping envelope.

Well...I didn't say that, but I totally felt like it lol.

It took them almost a month to respond to my e-mail. Calling is definitely quicker.

thanks for the reply, wow that is a long time?? I requested embassy change for my wife interview and when I called they told me I have to wait until they read the email which will waste me along time, this process is killing me, so today I went a head and sent them an overnight letter (it may be faster than email!!)

I think you can go ahead and pay the AoS and IV bills while you are waiting for the embassy change.

Call and ask them if you can continue processing while waiting for an embassy/case # change.

I think I read in this forum that people actually continue the process while waiting for the embassy or case # change.

Good luck

Exactly 3 weeks until your wifey's interview!!! So exciting!!! :dancing:

I tracked my packet the whole time, when my case left NVC and U.S. airspace the weight of this journey became very light.

I have let myself dream for the first time in over a year of being with my wife and son....(no more skype dates).... :)

I just had some furniture delivered and doing some last minute touches around the house. Our conversations has taken

on this beautiful tone of hope and optimism as we have been liberated. I am waiting to celebrate with you very soon.

Your day is fast approaching when your life will no longer be on hold :D

It's my birthday, WOO. :goofy:

That means 14 months since I sent in the I-130. C'mon NVC. Gimme a case complete today. You (and USCIS) have screwed me long enough.

I'm calling when I get home today to see if they have birthday wish specials

Happy Birthday Lucybelle! I hope you hear some great news today! The 14 months is horrible! I am at 11.5 months and still waiting on AOS payment to clear so I am sure I will be at 14+ months before case complete!

So true - they didn't bother to look properly at my documents that I sent for the civil packet and I was livid when I received checklists for unnecessary police certificates and documents that were certified that they stated were photocopies. I had been nice for long enough and I got better results when I demanded immediate action from the DR. It took less than 24 hours to get a case complete from the time that I emailed.

I-130 for both parents

March 28th 2013 - Priority date/ NOA 1
November 14th 2013 - Transferred to Nebraska Service Center

January 7th 2014 - Case changed online to approved for both

January 8th 2014 - case changed to shipped to NVC

January 9th 2014 - case changed to NOA 2 mailed

January 10th 2014 - Received the hardcopy of the NOA 2 stating that NVC would issue a case number in 30 days approx.

January 21st 2014 - Case Received at NVC

February 26th 2014 - Case numbers and IIN number received - Wrong embassy code assigned...now waiting for new case numbers.

March 3rd 2014 - Filled in DS-261 for both parents

March 5th 2014- AOS available, paid and submitted AOS packet.

March 6th 2014 - USPS shows packet was delivered at NVC

March 10th 2014 - AOS shows as paid in the CEAC portal/AOS logged into system as being received by NVC.

March 11th 2014 - New case number assigned for my Dad.

March 20th 2014 - Paid IV fee for my Mum.

March 25th 2014 - AOS accepted by NVC with no checklist.

March 26th 2014 - Filled in and submitted DS-260 for my Mum

March 31st 2014 - AOS found in my Mum's file for my Dad - accepted and placed into his file/IV fee available for my Dad and Paid.

April 1st - Mailed all civil documents to NVC for both parents.

April 3rd: IV fee shows as paid in portal/submitted DS-260 for my Dad.

April 22nd: checklist issued for civil documents - NVC error ...

April 23rd: sent another certified copy of my marriage certificate

April 24th: Case complete! :)

April 30th 2014 - Medical scheduled for parents at Knightsbridge in London

June 11th: Interview at London Embassy - Approved :)
