mine took 2 weeks and 1 day. I think that is the norm lately.

I'm on hold right now... Can't help myself.

Confirmed with lawyer's office that the IV package was sent with the AOS package ( had to triple check because I just don't trust them)

I hope I get a June slot...

You are right behind me... ~~~~~~ GOOD VIBES FOR YOU ~~~~~~~

:star:

I really hope we make it for June interviews!

I really can't wait for July! It will crack me up to wait until then, especially if we miss it by a day or two! The wait will be hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only received 1 email from the NVC when my bills were available to pay. You don't normally get a notice.. you have to call. Study the timelines. It will give you a good idea of what to expect. Of course every case is different.

Thanks i tried calling to speak to tier 2 and they didnt want to transfer me told me after its approved its in the hands of the nvc

As it is I will be resorting to "BEG MODE" for something at the end of MAY. Yes, I said MAY... I want this interview overwith so I can submit that dang waiver and be in the final stretch of this retched journey. If the USCIS didn't take 11 months to approve my file, I'd already be past all this and waiting on the waiver. So yes, I will be pushy !

With my luck I will get an interview for the Week of June 9th. The one week I can't leave the US. :clock: My son's 18th birthday and his high school graduation all in the same week !

They usually schedule at the end of April beginning of May for June, I'm not really sure what is teh cut off date and it also depends on the embassy.

I know Casablanca has a big number of applicants every month so it will be hard to have a second round of scheduling in mid may for June. Most likely it will be in July, but we'll see, still hoping!!!!!

Thanks i tried calling to speak to tier 2 and they didnt want to transfer me told me after its approved its in the hands of the nvc

Sometimes they didn't want to transfer me either, and I would just tell them thank you for your help, but I would like to speak to Tier 2 rep. And if they made a big deal, I just kept calling until somebody transferred me. ANDDD, I would also call 2-3 times just to confirm that the information given to me the first time was correct. Sometimes at USCIS they like to change up their answers.

You can go ahead and call USCIS customer service and ask to speak to a tier 2.

Tier 2 can actually tell you when your case was shipped out to NVC if it was at all shipped out.

Good luck

Thanks i will try again to call i know i will have work a little harder to get that called transfered i called and they guy just told me that once petitions are its longer in their hands they are sent out to the nvc

Thats true i always get diffrent answers the other day when i gave them my i-129 case number the lady told me that if it wasnt updated on the site i should call by the 1st of may. Another one told me it could take from 30-90 days for petitions to be sent out to the nvc

Those are for the Diversity Visa applicants. That doesn't apply to any of us.
