Seriously etrangais, you need a group intervention. Better yet, take your router/phone and put them in the freezer for a while. It worked for credit cards before the days of online shopping (yes... I'm that old).

Freezing your credit cards - literally! Good personal finance advice! I haven't thought about doing that with a phone!

When I read etrangais' posting, I thought there was a typo.

I thought it was supposed to be "Four times you called LAST WEEK" instead of "Four times you called TODAY".

IV Packet:

· Two (2) passport-size photographs of beneficiary (case number, beneficiary’s full name, and date of birth are written on back of both)

· Certified copy & photocopy of the biographic data page of beneficiary’s passport

· Certified copy & photocopy of police clearance stamp in beneficiary’s passport

· Original marriage certificate of Petitioner and beneficiary

· Original birth certificate of beneficiary

· Original police clearance certificate of beneficiary

· Certified copies and photocopies of the originals

a checklist could be for insufficient information or something they need that you did not send, blank space left for a required information, ...

And it could be sor a missing form even if you are 1000000000% sure you sent it with the package.

it could be also for a missing form that does not apply to your country but the reviewer does not know.

Basically, they could issue a checklist for anything and everything.

My wife teaches school close to there.

I am flying over there the last of the month. We are going to tour Finland for our first wedding anniversary. We are hoping for a CC this week and possibly a June interview. Our corrected checklist has been there since April 17th.

my husband called today and nothing, but it was in the morning.

i feel that i have bad luck in this process and have to wait for everything longer, longer than everybody else.

Check my time line and I'll add that I actually sent the I-130 first week of March they have me down as June 24 Th.

unlucky doesn't even to begin to describe my journey.. It took 11 months for the USCIS to approve us... I watched everyone get approve left and right. That was so hard !! Its almost over though !!! If the USCIS only took 7 months, I would be just about home free by now... We still have a waiver to file that is another 6-8 more months of waiting. Sometimes life bites ya in the a$$.. I'm trying to deal with the long wait ahead and it didn't even happen yet.

Hello everyone glad to join you all. I got a very fast approval which am happy about but I don't know how long and what happens next. Guess I shouldn't complain cos I have it better. Anyway please can somebody tell me if VSC sends an email when they mail your docs to the NVC pls and what the timeframe is taking for VSC to send? I am not seeing too much of any of VSC pls. Thank you all

Come on NVC! Scared the ####### out of me!!!!!! initial false checklist received at 04:27 PM and 2nd false checklist email received at 11:46 PM!

What I need now is a CASE COMPLETE email and a June interview!

False IV checklist is actually an indication that they touched your DS-260. Now all they have to do is to open the IV package sitting in the corner... Hopefully, they will find everything they are looking for and CC. I have a feeling that is going to happen before this week is over.

I called last week to verify if for dominican republic a ppc was required to be sent to the nvc and the lady told me no only for the interview. But when i called again they told me it was required.many of relatives says they didnt have to send it and i have 2 others that said they did send it.

I say if in doubt send it then take a recent one to the interview just in case they say it's expired. I like to be ready as much as I can.
