Hi LifeOnHold! Thank you so much for your reply. I just have a follow-up question though, how will I know if they already scanned it to their system? Should I call them again, say a week after they received our packet?

When you call them and they've acknowledged that they have recieved the package, then it's in the system. It just takes them another 2 weeks to actually go thru ur package. So go by the date they give you. :)

I'm so tired of waiting already. I'm waiting for the IV fee to be invoiced. Got the AOS sent and it was delivered to the NVC this morning. I'm organizing police clearances being sent from 2 African countries otherwise just waiting. I haven't seen my husband for 9 months. It gets harder to wait the closer the end of the process gets. At least we don't go through this alone.

Congrats on your approval! No, I never got anything from VSC and had no idea when it shipped or when NVC got it. A couple weeks after I was approved I started calling. First time NVC said they didn't have it. Second time they did. So I think you'll just have to call NVC every once in awhile to check in.

I agree... The closer you get to the end, the harder it is. It is so twisted. I feel like someone will come out with a camera and say, "This has been a joke!!! Here is your husband!!!" Lol

I agree. Especially when you get someone on the phone who is very "blah" about it all.

Maybe you'll get an early July interview, like the first week. If you don't get June that is :)

I'm only calling back at the end of the week again. I'm over waiting on the phone for so damn long and not having anything good to hear. I've gotten to the point where I can wait because it's not like anything will be handled anytime soon.

I work abroad and will be employed here until I leave for the US on July 21 to start my new job.

In my AOS packet I included my resignation letter for my current job here as well as my signed Employment Contract for my new job in the US that states my annual income.

Do you think this was enough for Proof of Employment? I didn't include pay stubs for my current job because I didn't think my job here mattered since it is foreign and cannot be counted anyways.

Also, I used a Joint Sponsor and had Employment Contract and pay stubs for him.
