The day is fresh! enough time left for good news to come to all of us waiting!!!!

I called earlier this morning and was told that they still did not review my IV packet yet. Jeanna told me that they are still scheduling for June. I'm really hoping to get a Case Complete and a June interview!!!!!!!!!

I hope so! I just don't know if I want to call again just to hear bad news. :(

The day is fresh! enough time left for good news to come to all of us waiting!!!!

I called earlier this morning and was told that they still did not review my IV packet yet. Jeanna told me that they are still scheduling for June. I'm really hoping to get a Case Complete and a June interview!!!!!!!!!

I called late Friday night.. I'm going to give them some time to look at my file today ( :whistle: ) and I'll call later this afternoon !

Well my AOS shows "payed" .. I have my AOS package ready to be sent out.. buuuuttt.. my joint sponsor has NOT given me his documents in order to fill out his form... :ranting: ..

So waiting on that :clock:

Don't want to be toooo pushy but he does not understand how I want to get a case complete the first week of june ... ugh

I agree to both having a section for people filing from abroad (I have seen a few threads but nothing recent or helpful) and about the lawyer. Our lawyer seriously screwed things up.

2013: July 20: I-130 sent (Chicago lockbox)

July 24: I-130 NOA1

July 24: I-129F sent (Dallas Lockbox)

Aug 2: I-129F NOA1

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 10 - NOA2

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

April 7 - CASE NUMBER yay! IIN and BIN obtained and email given.

April 9 - DS261 available and filled in online.

April 9 - AOS not yet payable but visible.

April 10 - email regarding NVC case number and access to DS261 received/ email regarding AOS received and paid.

April 11 - AOS sent by snail mail.

April 14 - AOS arrived per mail tracking.

April 15 - IV bill received via email, IV bill paid/ in process, IV package sent.

April 18 - IV bill showing paid/ DS-260 available and done!

- AOS scanned into their system.

April 21 - IV package arrived per mail tracking.

April 24 - IV scanned into their system.

Hey everyone! I am still waiting for my hubby to get his birth certificate. This is so frustrating...I really can't move forward until I get his birth certificate. I thought that I would have everything together after waiting 8 months at USCIS, but I've learned that nothing happens the way that you've planned when going through this process. So the waiting continues... :clock:

7/11/13--Delivered to USCIS Chicago Lockbox @ 11:49 A.M.

7/11/13--NOA1

1/3/14---I-130 transferred to Nebraska Service Center (called USCIS @ 1:34 P.M. to receive update)

1/6/14---Received hardcopy of I-130 transfer notice

3/10/14--Received NOA2 via text message and email @ 2:30 P.M.

3/13/14--Case left USCIS via text message and email @ 8:15 A.M.

3/14/14--Received hardcopy of NOA2

NVC:

3/25/14--Case received by NVC

4/25/14--Case number assigned by NVC

How do you know they are reviewing them? did they tell you that somebody is activelly working on them or was it just the blanket statement "they are under review"?

I was just fooling around... I haven't called yet today but will tonight. And I was suggesting the reason they hadn't gotten to your IV package was because they were busy with mine :P

I agree with you. I'm not finding much information for people filing from abroad. :bonk:

The only thread I found was "Proving domicile when not living in the U.S." http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/164618-proving-domicile-when-not-living-in-the-us/ However, this thread is kind of for Canadians living in Canada. :no:

I just put my AOS and IV packages together this weekend. :idea: My AOS package is pretty thick due to including lots of domicile documents! :wow:

I hear you about the AOS packet! It was by far the thickest I've sent in, cost me $90 to DHL from Costa Rica!!!

Make sure to include proof of employment. Even though I'm quitting my job here in CR to move (if they ever give me my damn case complete) they still wanted proof of employment from me.

Finally got my case # and invoice!!!they told me today that they entered in the system May 9th..yayyyy !!!1 step closer to interview !!

December 31 2013 transfered to CSC

January 31 2014 received an RFE

March 20 2014 RFE response

March 26 2014 Case Aproved ( finally) !!

April 1 2014 NOA2 hard copy received

I know exactly how you feel, I finally just got all of the documents from my joint sponsor. Only took her a month to get them all to me <_<:rolleyes:
