The excitement is overwhelming, congrats!!!!!

Uscis shipped our approved petition to NVC on April 18th. My husband called NVC today and they said it just arrived today. Please what's next? I just can't wait to get everything done as soon as possible. The distance apart from my spouse is really killing me.

But now you wait likely at least 2-3 weeks for a case number which you'll get the quickest by calling NVC rather than waiting for their email. It's all described in the wiki:)

I got checklisted for a similar problem. I provided my resignation letter, but the reviewer was not satisfied. I had to send in a letter directly addressing the NVC about my work status. After that, I got checklisted for a police certificate that we do not require, but we got that cleared up through a supervisor. This saved us a 2-3 month delay. We got case complete earlier this week.

May I ask a silly question?

Does NVC always schedule interviews 30 days or more after CC? I've seen everyone getting June interviews and I checked Dwheels' spreadsheet, and it seems that way. I thought that since Buenos Aires embassy has very little inmigrants my interview date would be right away after CC. How wrong am I?

Yeah, I got case complete April 10th and thought I was going to get an Early June interview because Amsterdam really is not that busy of a Consulate for immigrant visas. I'm *still* fuming that it's June 17. As soon as my file gets to Amsterdam I'm going to try to reschedule it.

Tax Return Transcript or Tax Account Transcript? Which one should I submit?

I Googled this, but I read lots of conflicting information.

Oh, I'll need to submit my partner's 2013 tax transcript, correct? I mean it's May so I'd think you'll get checklisted if you didn't include your 2013 tax documents.

Definitely 'return' transcripts. My joint sponsor and her husband started out with 'account' transcripts and it doesn't show the total income So they had to reorder the correct ones. And yes, you'll be using 2013 as the most recent year, as mid-April's deadline has passed.

Obviously my case will be received by NVC this month bc it just started. I tried to add my case to NVC spreadsheet.

Your case prbably won't be received at the NVC for about 3-4 weeks.

I got my approval e-mail April 17 and my case arrived to NVC from CSC on April 29. You can call with your USCIS receipt number. I don't have my approval number or my husband's alien registration number because we're still waiting on the NOA2 hard copy! I think technically you're supposed to wait until you get the hard copy in the mail to see what you're supposed to do, but if all of us waited as long as they always tell us to wait, it would lengthen the process considerably.

I will tell you that when I called the first time and gave the receipt number, they said it didn't appear in the system and asked for my "approval number." I told them I didn't have that and then my internet went out so the call dropped. I waited five days or so to call again and this time with just the receipt number they told me it had arrived--and told me to call in six weeks if I hadn't heard from them. Yeah right, I will be calling for the case number starting next week...six weeks, PUH-LEASE. If they're going to be slow then they get to deal with my phone calls every few days.

I checked your timeline and suggest it will be at least 2 weeks before your number is ready. Although timeframes at the NVC seem to be speeding up just a touch lately. Would you consider making a signature with your information so it's visible in your posts?

We called NVC yesterday to ask whether we have a Case Complete and Agent Tori (very friendly) said "I will give you an even better news, your interview is scheduled for June 2". We couldn't believe it. She said she totally understands how relieved we must feel and how exciting it must be to see the NVC process come to an end and have the date for an interview.

Haha 6 weeks? No chance. Il give them 60 phone calls. I'll wait a until next Monday to call. It will be a week then. My last Noa1 never arrived so I dont have it. So I'm worried I may never get the noa2 hard copy either!

So I called NVC this morning [...]

So finally we got through all that and he told me my interview was June 16th.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!

I thanked him for being SO pleasant. Lol! And he told me to have a nice day!! Very sarcastically of course!

I hope I never have to call them again!!!

Im still curious as to how will i find out when my case is sent from vsc and when it is recieved will nvc email me? I will try and call again today to see if theres any news.i got approved april 1st
