Does anybody besides the government use IE? :rofl: Firefox is good. So is Chrome. Love how the NVC workers say "ONLY USE IE".

Ah, DS261, easiest form.. Drove us mad when we had to wait 4 days afterwards for the AOS to be invoiced. Hope you don't have to wait that long :). One step closer now!

Pretty much guaranteed to be 3days (at least) if they don't work overtime this weekend! Stupid Friday!

Yeah, I've been using Chrome and so far so good. We'll see for sure when it's time to pay.

I am very sad right now. Someone also waiting for an interview in Mexico who received case complete AFTER me got their interview date today. I just called and nothing. I was so hopeful. :'(

Are we supposed to receive 'case complete' email from NVC? or do we still need to a call to find out?

If possible I would want to avoid calling for NVC and staying on hold for long time to make a simple inquiry.

Important question is: from 'case complete' to 'interview scheduling' is there any benefit of calling for NVC to speed up the process?

You do receive a case complete email from NVC, but people prefer to call to know sooner than later. From what I can tell it takes a week later or so for the e-mail to come through when the case is complete.

Ours was 3 working days, as we completed our DS261 on Saturday.. :). I hope they are working over time! This process needs to keep chugging along. :dancing:

That's probably the reason. Looking at your signature, you didn't fill out a DS-261, so they must have sent some form with the I-130 electing themselves as agent, so once the file got to NVC, they were automatically selected as agent again.

We filled out the DS-261 ourselves, and designated me (the petitioner) as the agent. And still ended up able to pay both fees at the same time.

04/01/2014 DS-261 Available and completed

04/07/2014 AOS and IV bills paid

04/09/2014 Sent AOS package

Hi! We used an attorney for I30 . As we have a straight forward case, we decided not to use attorney . Today I sent an email to NVC to change the agent. will this cause processing delay? Thanks

We also received an email from NVC indicating to complete the DS261, which we did. I was not able to give the email addresses when I got the case number as they said it was still being put into the system so they must have used the email from the file. Now it says to pay the AOS bill but it hasn't been invoiced yet. Maybe Monday it can be paid but I will continue to check several times a day to see if it is ready yet!

Hopefully it will all go smoothly! Good luck all!

Just called. Couldn't get his name but he was really nice and polite. My revised AOS packet was scanned in on Monday. But IV Packet hasn't even been looked at yet. June interviews still being scheduled though.

I talked to a lady at NVC because this is happening to me too. She said that we should be able to pay tomorrow because they lock the site the day they actually invoice it.
