I gained a few pounds with all of this but it isn't the overeating. It is the constant stress and anxiety, along with lack of sleep and worrying. Now if I were nervous about the whole process then I would have lost weight. Hoping the hubby will be here by summer so I can actually fit into my summer dresses.

When I'm stressed, I have zero appetite.

And I just saw that someone who paid their AOS after me now has their IV available before me (they're not using an attorney) does not help. :/ I think I need to go find a field to scream in. Excuse me....

are you kidding? Doctor told me to give up coffee because she said when you are stressed all the time and then add coffee to the mix, your body never gets a chance to rest...You are in a constant hype. Stress releases cortisol which creates belly fat.... ( maybe not so much in men) I used to drink a pot of coffee myself. I tried to switch to tea but I just don't like tea. I have 2 decaf's a day because I really really love coffee. I wouldn't say I gained a ton of weight but I do feel disgusting and I know stress is the cause. Since I gave up coffee, I feel so tired all the time... I just can't win.

Stress is evil and this process is just not good for your health. It causes tension between spouses and anxiety 24/7. I hope this is over soon so we can all start to live normally. I dream of the day when I don't have to worry about calling immigration or when I might see my husband again.

I want to live a normal life.

I agree with everything you said. It is the stress that has killed me in this whole process. That and deciding to buy a house on my own, renovate it, and pay its mortgage. Real smart move on my end.

I just crave the day that I can come home, cook dinner with my husband, do the laundry, and just hang out. Not have to rush to be on SKYPE because of a 5 hour difference.

They say 20 - 30 business days but it usually takes couple of days.

I've seen some members report 2 to 3 business days for a supervisor review

Thank you so much for your response :) so I'd have to call and ask them what the supervisor thinks or will they e-mail me? They actually havent replied to my email yet the agent said they shudve replied by now which is why she put in a request.

They are scheduling for June the next 2 weeks?!?!?!?!?!?!? :energy::energy::energy:

Is she sure??? I bet when I call and ask someone else will they will say they are done scheduling for June.

Actually few of them said they are still scheduling for June.

I called twice yesterday and already called twice today and everytime I asked if they were still scheduling for June and the answer was YES.

Think positive and everything will work out!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys, I wanted your opinion on the AOS packet.

I still don't have my 2013 transcript but will be providing a full copy of everything I sent in to the IRS (1040 with W2s, W7 application, and Foreign Income Exclusion), thinking of also including a copy of the ITIN letter I got too. I'll also be including my incentive letter with the company letterhead showing my new salary for 2014.

Would all of the above be sufficient instead of a transcript?

Also, I was thinking of providing 2012 and 2011 transcripts but the problem is I didn't work at all during the 2011 tax year bc I was a full time student and my parents claimed me as a dependent. I did however get copies from the IRS stating that I did not file a return that year and also have the University's tuition on there that my parents claimed as as deduction to prove I was in school. I could also include a statement explaining why I did not file that year.

Do I really need to provide those other years or would that just be too much info? I really wish I had the freakin 2013 transcript already.

I think the info you listed in the first paragraph would be sufficient, but I'm not 100%. Hopefully someone else here can verify!

Can't wait to hear them say that the IV package is accepted! And then that the AOS package is finally accepted. And then that we have case complete! I even dream of this... how sad!

Btw I was wondering, are you going to book flights for your wife and son after they receive their visa or will you book it before? It must be so exciting to book flights for all three of you!! :-)

I have my one-way ticket to go already purchased and will fly in about 10 days.

I will purchase three one-way tickets for us to travel here before I leave.

The window of travel is narrow and price increases for short notice ticket purchases

verses the unlikely event of having to pay a change fee for any delay in travel

was the determining factor. Plus buying early yields more choices for POE and

guarantees no problems with getting the seats we want.

My son is already a US citizen. We obtained his Consular Report of Birth Abroad

after he was born so he already has U.S. Passport and SS#.

there should be a trigger effect you would think... once one fee is paid the other should become available... I still think they are trying to control the workflow. They have control over what gets released. I have no evidence, its just the only thing I can think of because nothing else makes sense . Mine were available together and I paid them at the same time. You can see my timeline. I think ours was unusual.. I would understand if EVERYONE experienced a delay going from paying one to the other, but its really random. I can't wait to get outta the NVC. According to the AOS I-864 Checklist Instructions:

If you provide a photocopy of your tax return(s), you must include a copy of each and every Form W-2 and Form 1099 that relates to your return(s). Do not include copies of those Forms if you provide an IRS transcript of your return(s) rather than a photocopy. :)

So I have a really random question and this is hypothetical because I will most likely be too poor to go anywhere, especially not getting paid in the summer as a teacher. But if my hubby came in late June/beginning of July, would I be able to go with him on a trip to Bermuda in mid August? Not sure if he would have his green card by then and I am thinking I would like to surprise him with a cruise from NY to Bermuda for our anniversary. It probably won't happen. But I was just wondering.
