I called again this morning and spoke to Todd. He was very nice and very respectful.

Nothing new: DS260 and IV supporting documents in line to be reviewed.

I'll call again at the end of today, but most likely will not have Case Complete until early next week.

He also told me that they are still scheduling for June interviews!!

11/17/2016: Got engaged
11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box

Good morning Saylin!

I'm off to a bad start today. I called the NVC last night to see what was the status of our case and the rep stated that they were waiting on everything to be sent in as our case was enrolled for EP. My lawyer never opted for EP and the package was sent in on Apr 11. They stated the package would now be returned and we would need to scan and send the documents in. I decided to call again this morning and speak with another rep at the NVC who told me the exact same thing. Have you heard of this happening. Our Fed Ex package was received at the NVC and signed by someone G. Peters. I'm panicking right now as I don't know what to do. My lawyer said they would follow up but again, at this point if you have any insight, please share.

Thank you!

Hi, my spouse is filing i864EZ for me and my daughter separately. I want to know whether my husband enter his gross income or net income for last three years. There is a list of document present at the end of form, are there any more documents needed to be submitted with i864ez to avoid any checklist?

It depends on what form your husband filed for his tax returns. If he filed a 1040EZ, he should use adjusted gross income on the AOS. If he filed anything else, he should use total income.

Additional documents required, taken straight from the form instructions:

A copy of your individual Federal income tax return, including W-2s for the most recent tax year, or a statement and/or evidence describing why you were not required to file. Also include a copy of each and every Form 1099, Schedule, and any other evidence of reported income. You may submit this information for the most recent three tax years, pay stub(s) from the most recent six months, and/or a letter from your employer if you believe any of these items will help you qualify.

I highly recommend using tax return transcripts if at all possible. It's much less paperwork and much less hassle than submitting a complete tax return.

Oh man that sucks. I'd check with your laywer today to make sure he DID NOT accidently optin for EP. Lawyers screw up quiet often, If he didn't I would call NVC back and ask to speak to a supervisor. You should be very close to a case complete if everything was sent in on the 11 of April, Sorry to see youre going through this.

Hi, my spouse is filing i864EZ for me and my daughter separately. I want to know whether my husband enter his gross income or net income for last three years. There is a list of document present at the end of form, are there any more documents needed to be submitted with i864ez to avoid any checklist?

In ds260 there is a question regarding vaccination. There is a confusion for correct answer. So I made a call to nvc n asked this question, the lady there told me to put no if u have'nt recieved vaccination according to US requirements yet. Another question regarding "/" in address, also discussed in this thread. I also asked this question, the lady told me that you can either put "-" or a space it doesn't make any difference.

Super2007 asked about PCC from Pakistan. I suggest you should submit it to NVC to avoid any checklist. You will need it at your interview, it can not be avoided. It is valid for six months hope you will not be required to arrange a new at your interview. InshaAllah you will through this process within time. I will do the same

Form 864EZ has a condition: c.the sponsored immigrant is the only person immigrating... etc

and if the answer is no you should prepare form 864, are you sure your husband could send 864EZ because there are 2 immigrants, even if are filling 864EZ separately (if i understand - 2 forms 864EZ, one for you and one for your daughter)

We enter the gross income (adjusted income for 1040EZ) . Other documents, you can see http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864ezinstr.pdf , part 5

I wondered about this too... I know the EZ form can only be used if there's only one immigrant being sponsored on the underlying visa petition, but I have no idea how that shakes out for OP's case. If they haven't double checked that the EZ can be used for this scenario they definitely should.

I wondered about this too... I know the EZ form can only be used if there's only one immigrant being sponsored on the underlying visa petition, but I have no idea how that shakes out for OP's case. If they haven't double checked that the EZ can be used for this scenario they definitely should.

Yes, they should if it is possible, but how then the household count? They are always at least 3 - once count the child like a dependent (the form for the spouse, but not corresponding to the tax returns), once like an immigrant for the other form, and count the spouse?
