Just remember they make no sense and they never update their computer, this has to be computer generated so they most likely didn't remove you from their checklist. Did you call?

the birth cert is still outstanding on the checklist . But they only sent the official checklist on Friday afternoon. Of course it was received at the NVC on Tuesday morning. I think its nuts that they keep sending a reminder but its them that need to step it up...its already there

Case complete! Are you serious? The lady was super nice and said my case is complete. I should get an email soon. Turns out they DONT need the original both cert. so I just wasted $100! Oh well, I have to send a corrected I-184a form to my husband to bring to the interview anyway so I guess it's not a big deal. I am shaking with relief!

??? I spoke to some really nice guy right now at nvc. I wanted to know when they scanned the checklist that I sent n he said it hasn't been scanned yet... But he sees something received on the 24th.... Why hasn't it gotten scanned!!!! Good thing though he said Dominican Republic is finishing up June... I was hopin for July or aug so it still might work out

Ok i just talked to a very sweet lady named MAy today she told me she would put in a request for supervisor's review for the fact that they havent replied to my emails sent on 31st march or 8th april. Reese, Lisa, Joy noone else was ready to help me AT ALL!

Anyway, how long does it take to get a reply when you get a supervisor's review?

After calling for the checklist I received in Greek today I was told its a reminder for my initial checklist that ive already sent and they confirmed 3 days ago that they have already received and scanned it into their system. Am so confused and dont even know what to believe anymore.

This is random, but I was wondering where everyone met their spouses? We have a huge variety of countries on this thread. I am wondering how everyone got together.. my husband was here on a tourist visa and was living with a mutual friend. I got laid off one spring and had some time on my hands so I went to hang out with my friend and there he was. We were friends for a year before we moved to BF/GF status. I met him only 4 months after he arrived in the US. He didn't speak a word of english. I used to bring him books so he could try to study english. I took him to NYC, Atlantic City, the Jersey shore for motorcross on the beach, the philadelphia Zoo, Amusement parks and countless trips to the mall. HA HA Museums and restaurants.. I could go on...

Sorry I just got back at VJ and I want to share how my husband and I met.

I was in Malaysia vacationing with friends back in 2012 and he was coming back from deployment. We happen to be staying at the same hotel. The last night that we are staying there was the time that we met. I was in the lobby with my friends and he and his friend walked up to us and started a conversation and it goes from there. We spent the next day together and we really hit it off. We exchanged emails, chats, calls and I went to visit him in 2013 and we got married. And here we are now. Soon we will never be apart again. :)

I'm going to be totally sappy right now. But I feel like I have to say this, and I hope there are a bunch of others who happen to agree with me! :goofy:

I honestly don't know where my husband and I would be without the support of this forum. These have been some of the most difficult times of our lives (one year and 2 days since NOA1 now) and before this, I felt so incredibly lost and alone. No one outside of the immigration process understands what we go through every day with the phone calls, the paperwork and the endless stress and sadness. I'm so thankful to have such a strong support group of complete strangers to help make it day to day. I refer to all of you by your VJ handles when I talk to my husband. It's like we know you. And all I want is for everyone to make it to the next step to be with their loved ones. You're like family now.
