out of curiosity, how often do you guys call NVC waiting for a case complete/interview date?

Its all depend on person lol..

Some people call two times in a day ( morning and night)

And some people call twice a week ( Monday and Friday).

How you find out that your Aos is accepted ?

What specific question did you ask ?

Everytime I called them. they just told me to wait 30 days..

You have to ask if your AOS has been accepted. That's what I did.

July 1st 2013: NOA1

January 9th 2014: Transferred to CSC

January 16th 2014: NOA2

January 24 2014: Case recieved at NVC

March 5 2014: Received case number, IIN, & BIN

March 7 2014: Paid AOS feeMarch 8 2014: Filled out DS-261

March 11 2014: Sent AOS packageMarch 14 2014: AOS package arrived at NVC

March 18 2014: AOS package entered in system

March 25 2014: Paid IV feeMarch 28 2014: Received AOS checklist

March 31 2014: Completed and sent DS-260April 2 2014: Sent AOS package revision

April 4 2014: AOS revision arrived at NVC

April 8 2014: AOS revision entered in system

April 8 2014: Sent IV package

April 11 2014: IV package received at NVC

April 15 2014: IV package entered into system

April 21 2014: DS-260 accepted

April 30 2014: Case Complete

May 13 2014: Interview Date Assigned

I'm still in shock that our case is complete! I have a few questions floating around my mind that I wanted to ask though. I am a little hazy on the details of what goes on now. I understand it has to be sent from NVC to the embassy and then the interview and medical is done. But I just want to make sure I stay on top of this.

Do I wait for an email with further instructions? Or do I keep calling NVC for info? If I do call what am I asking for?

A big thank you to everyone who contributes to this forum, I haven't posted a ton but have read pretty much everything (haha!) and am so grateful for the advice and help getting through this!

Hi guys, congrats to all who have case completed and receive interview date. Today, I just check the copy of joint sponsor I864 form from lawyer, I realized that my lawyer forgot to fill in Part 4 (Information on the Sponsor (continued)). I'm afraid I will get checklist for that ?????. My AOS package n IV doc were sent on 5May.

Oh my gosh, more information that supports what others have said here... do this without a lawyer, as they don't care about our paperwork nearly as much as we do! I believe others here would suggest sending in a revision before you even get a checklist.

I broke down, and called the NVC. 45 minutes on hold. But it was worth it.

CASE COMPLETE!!

She said it was complete on the 6th, but the file didn't show a date. So she would get a supervisor to correct it.

WONDERFULLLLLLLL!!!!!!

Looking at the recent progress, statistically, I should expect case complete Monday/Tuesday 12/13-May.

I really can't wait! This weekend is going to be one of my longest weekends ever!

I hope I get Case Complete This Friday.

Wow, it would be great if we still catch a June interview and it will be sad if we miss it by a day or two.

I'm still anxiously awaiting news on my case too! Was really hoping it would be this week. I even called twice yesterday, and they said the IV package is not listed as being reviewed yet. PLEASE HURRY NVC! I need my husband :cry::clock:

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 10 - NOA2

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

April 7 - CASE NUMBER yay! IIN and BIN obtained and email given.

April 9 - DS261 available and filled in online.

April 9 - AOS not yet payable but visible.

April 10 - email regarding NVC case number and access to DS261 received/ email regarding AOS received and paid.

April 11 - AOS sent by snail mail.

April 14 - AOS arrived per mail tracking.

April 15 - IV bill received via email, IV bill paid/ in process, IV package sent.

April 18 - IV bill showing paid/ DS-260 available and done!

my interview is jun10 so almost it close but it doesn't have expire date my husband went and they said it Valid for 3 month and nvc said if it 1 year than i should get

here its not easy to get you have to apply and it take more weeks to come back and more money they want

that's way I don't know what to do its only 3 month i got it 9 month left for pass year

Oh my definitely a dilemma :( but what is worse to you, spend the money or have to wait for the Visa? Just something to think about, plus the fact if you apply now you would have a valid one no matter what. Just saying. (F)(L)(F)

What exactly were you asking? If they were "scanned and accepted"? when I ask if they have my AOS and IV packets they say "there is something here but we don't know what it is"!

Once they can see they have mail in your case, it takes 2 to 3 weeks from the day they can see it to have it reviewed!!!!!!
