In the instructions it says to leave them blank, but a lot of people have been getting checklists for leaving them blank. We put none or N/A in the blank boxes just to dodge that bullet just in case!

Yes that is why I was asking.. but thank you !!!

Does anyone know how long the termination message is up before you can pay?

It's not consistent for everyone. I got my case number and IIN on Feb 24 but couldn't pay my AOS invoice until March 3. Count on a week after your numbers being issued before you can actually do anything on the portal.

it seems like some posts are ignored... including mine T^T

Sorry... I'm sure you can see that this thread moves super fast and I know it can feel like you're being ignored, but usually it's just that 50 people posted right after you did and only those of us who go all the way back to "first unread post" ever see it.

All the best to you and if you have a question that doesn't get answered within a few pages of the thread, just re-post it!

AOS I-864 QUESTION...

On boxes that do not apply to me.. do I leave it blank or do I put "N/A"

Oooh! I'm too slow! Yes, put N/A if the question doesn't apply to you, or "none" or "0" if the question applies, but you don't have any of whatever they're asking about!

Is your timeline updated?

Does the medical come after the interview or before the interview? What if the beneficiary needs two doses of one injection and doses are given 4 weeks apart, what happens if the interview is before the second dose of injection?

Quick question: Do you receive a Green Card via USPS once you have validated your visa at the POE? :huh2:

The reason for this question is that I'm thinking about renting a PO Box in the US (I currently live in Canada). I believe USPS delivers mail to a PO Box.

However, if you receive a Green Card via FedEx, UPS, or DHL, I'll need to rent a more expensive PO Box that gives me a street address in order to receive mail from FedEx, UPS, or DHL.

I find it incredibly bizarre that I have to wait (and wait and wait) to pay the IV fee.... I want to give you money, NVC! Why must you make this so difficult!

Good ole Waldo told me this morning it takes them up to 30 days to review the DS-261. Yea. Ok.

If you filled the form and your line hasn't been updated on the spreadsheet, then refer to the form response sheet and see why you haven't been added. In most cases, it's a timeline issue.
