It was the joint sponsors I-864A, when we originally sent it he hadn't filed taxes for 2013 yet. But when we got a checklist and resent it, it was past April 15 so I wasn't sure and kept the incomes and years the same. So she said I need to update it with the most current year being 2013. I had sent the tax return for 2013 with the checklist anyway so that's probably why they are letting me just take it to the embassy!

Case complete! Are you serious? The lady was super nice and said my case is complete. I should get an email soon. Turns out they DONT need the original both cert. so I just wasted $100! Oh well, I have to send a corrected I-184a form to my husband to bring to the interview anyway so I guess it's not a big deal. I am shaking with relief!

Congrats!!

Maybe they're afraid of getting a checklist!

 No checklists for my forms! If you don't do something right, I just don't add/update you to the spreadsheet. But, if one checks what the mistake is, they can fix it, then re-submit.

And I don't take 30 days to review stuff, typically just a few hours. If only NVC was as efficient, right?

Thanks for your feedback. My checklist was not for the same thing, so I don't think I will have the same luck.

Anyone else doing electronic filing? I sent my AOS and supporting docs all in one email on Apr 10. Then I just got a reply today satying that NVC has received my inquiry.... please allow up to 20 business days from the day the email was sent for the scanned attachments to be uploaded to the electronic case file and reviewed. Well, I did the math and 20 days is today. Does this email meen that they have already reviewed my AOS and supproting documents.

I submitted my DS-260 and supporting documents on April 14th, so I'm expecting another email regarding this in about 4 business days.

Anyone have any thoughts on what might be going on with my case?

I got three checklists, too!! All for BS reasons. Normally it takes about two weeks for them to review checklist responses. My first checklist response took two weeks, the second too just two days, and now I'm waiting on the third.

ok.

If your packages were scanned in 25-Apr, you should get some info by end of day tomorrow or early next week.

They take about 2 to 3 weeks to review packages from the date they scan them into the system.

My Aos package was scanned in on 22-Apr and was accepted yesterday.

Good luck

What exactly were you asking? If they were "scanned and accepted"? when I ask if they have my AOS and IV packets they say "there is something here but we don't know what it is"!

AOS I-864 QUESTION...

On boxes that do not apply to me.. do I leave it blank or do I put "N/A"

In the instructions it says to leave them blank, but a lot of people have been getting checklists for leaving them blank. We put none or N/A in the blank boxes just to dodge that bullet just in case!
