I'll take a black one too. Although I don't know my size right now. I gained a few pounds with this entire stupid process  And I refuse to weight myself.

I eat less when stressed! I look terrible. A bag of bones with black bags under her eyes. :(

So we sent the IV package before our joint sponsor bailed out on us. Does it matter that the AOS package will only be sent like three weeks afterwards? If I understood correctly they're not going to do anything to the IV package until they get the AOS, am I right? All fees are paid and DS-260 is completed.

I may be wrong but I thought they would just review whatever package they get first? There is no time limit on when you send the AOS package, as long as it is before a year. Which I'm sure you are not going to wait that long :P

She said it was complete on the 6th, but the file didn't show a date. So she would get a supervisor to correct it.

Thank you for saying that. I am intending to send the AOS packet in ASAP and not wait until it shows up as paid. I was able to print out the bar code right away, so I don't know what difference it would make if I waited anyway. it's not going to generate a different bar code.

We paid ours yesterday ,sent the package today.. and thankfully the payment came out today. The AOS package won't be there until Monday morning though :).

Looking at the recent progress, statistically, I should expect case complete Monday/Tuesday 12/13-May.

I really can't wait! This weekend is going to be one of my longest weekends ever!

I hope I get Case Complete This Friday.

Wow, it would be great if we still catch a June interview and it will be sad if we miss it by a day or two.

Good luck to all!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations London2Boston and Natalie and Bruce!! :dancing:

Based on when you submitted your last packets, it seems NVC keeps falling behind on their CC timeliness. A month ago they used to be 15 calendar days (w/o checklists). Mine took 19 days by end of April and now it looks like 21+ days. I hope they keep working overtime.

Just found this thread today. Reading through is both comforting and discouraging! Congrats to everyone who has interview dates! I am the petitioner and am living in the US since last year, hubs lives in Romania still. Took 6 months to get our NOA2, 7 weeks to get to NVC, and it's been another 8 weeks since that point. I've gotten 3 checklists so far (ha! Not counting all the false ones!), the first was for not putting N/A on one line of the I-864A, the second for additional tax returns, and now the latest one for hubby's original birth certificate even though I send a certified copy. :( Every time I make a reasonable time in my mind that my husband and I will be reunited we get delayed once again. So I guess I should just focus on hopefully being together by the end of the year in order to not be disappointed! :D Okay enough of my whining I know a lot of people have waited more than me.

I do have a question:

I will be mailing the birth certificate as soon as I get it, hopefully Monday! How long will it take for NVC to get that in my case and take the checklist off? Could it really take 30 days? Makes me feel sick just thinking about it. Any way to speed it up?

Crossing my fingers I don't get anymore checklists. At this point I feel like I have to be prepared for anything.

I got three checklists, too!! All for BS reasons. Normally it takes about two weeks for them to review checklist responses. My first checklist response took two weeks, the second too just two days, and now I'm waiting on the third.

Tico- I got that same email. Twice.

does the NVC wait for the DS-260 to be submitted before looking over your AOS/IV packets?

AoS is a different route than DS260/IV package.

as long the AoS fee is paid, they will review the AoS package as soon as they get to it.

They look at DS260 and IV package together if I'm not mistaking.
